snu snu Bug Catcher Joined: Fri May 26, 2006 10:51 am Posts: 1	hi when can the red version trade with the silver version? Cuz i've been trying over and over and it will just say please wait and it never connects or anything. I even did talked to Bill and he fixed the time machine and it's the next day and i can't trade with the red version. I'm trying to trade charmander to my friend so i can start off with all 3 beginning pokemon but it never lets me trade. What am i doing wrong or maybe it's just the connection wire doesn't work.

Miasma Pokemon Ranger Joined: Mon May 22, 2006 9:03 pm Posts: 669 Location: Tohjo Falls	It sounds like you've either got a faulty link cable or the connection ports on either your link cable or GB have dust or something in them. Make sure the ports are clear, and if it still doesn't work, I'd start looking for a new link cable. Also, when you're starting to trade, make sure your timing is good. Once I took too long to press A when the game asked me to save my Gold file before trading w/ my friend's Red, and the trade failed. Hope my advice helps, and by the way, welcome to Psypokes!
