I got a male ExtremeSpeed Dratini. Can I breed it with a female Dratini and get babies with ExtremeSpeed? In other words, pass down ExtremeSpeed?

I don't think so. Extremespeed is only learnt by Dratini in Crystal version, and it's neither an Egg move or a level-up move, so I don't think it can be passed down via breeding. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

You cant unless you have another female dratini with extremespeed. But if you only got the male with it then your stuck

By the use of two Crystal Game Cartridges, you could obtain both the male and female Dratinins, both knowing Extremespeed. Perhaps you could then breed them to duplicate Dratinis with Extremespeed.
I'm not sure, though. I've never played Crystal version. |

Naw that would work. For sure unless all the breeding guides Ive read are all wrong. As long as the Male and Female both know the move it will be passed down.

Only works if the baby can learn it thru LEVEL UP!!!
In other words, the dratini is special. To get another one, you need to either trade, or shark a moveslot |

That dratini is weird. I think extremespeed is quite bad on account of it having only 5 pp. I dont think you can have any other pokemon (except arcanine) learn it so make the most of the oppertunity!! :twisted:

This seems like the wrong place to post but... iv played through crystal 7 times and never got a dratini with extreme speed the dude in the den never even mentioned it

:roll: After you leave the Dragon's Den in Crystal, visit after you beat the Elite Four and talk to the master dude whatever. He'll give you the Dratini.

I'm pretty sure what sN0wBaLL said is right, special moves like that can't really be passed down, Only Level-Up, Egg, TM and HM Moves can..
Anyway, I believe this has been answered, so it will be closed.. Be sure to check this page if you need anymore help with breeding.. ~Locked |
