Well, the only reason those types are neglected is because it's really just sorta hard to think up new attack names. Seriously, I don't blame the game creators for lacking a little.

Megahorn and silverwind are both good attacks but I've often found that Twinneedle is better. an accuracy of 95-100% a base power of 40, the attack hits twice making the base power technically 80 and it has a 20% chance to poison the foe, also because twinneedle is a bug attack and not poison, it is the only teccnique in the game that can poison steel types.

Unfortunatley Beedrill is the only pokemon that learns it.

I came up with some new attacks they're pretty awful but most I made up on the spot to be honest.

Steam cannon
type: water
base power:60
Accuracy: 85%
effect: lowers opponents accuracy with a 30% probability

kindle
type:fire
base power; N/A
Accuracy; N/A
effect: Raises the users special attack

rampage / ravage
type:Dragon
Base power:120
Accuracy: 75%
effect: the user receives 1/4th recoil damage

Divebomb
type: flying
base power: 50
accuracy: 90%
effect; if the user misses it takes 1/8th of the damage it would have dealt

Magnetise
type: steel
base power; N/A
accuracy: 95%
effect; prevents the opponents pokemon from switching out and wild pokemon from running( basically a steel type mean look)

Grapple / Chokehold
type: fighting
base power: 30
accuracy: 85%
effect: the opponent takes additional damage each turn for up to 5 turns, during that time the opponent can't run or switch out.

flashflood
type: water
base power:N/A
accuracy:100%
effect: increases the power of water and electrical attacks and reduces the speed of nonwater types. lasts five turns.

linger
type:ghost
base power:N/A
accuracy:N/A
effect: the user faints and when a new pokemon is switched into battle the "lingerer" remains behind to act as a substitute, a quarter of it's total hit points make up the substitutes' hitpoints. The "lingerer" looks like a small white ghost, like in the carttons, you know like with a bed sheet over it's head.

I FEEL LIKE THEY CAN USE SUM MORE "HYPER BEAM" TYPE ATTACKS, LIKE BLAST BURN AND ROAR OF TIME. THEY NEED TO HAVE AN ELEMENTAL HYPER BEAM MOVES FOR ELECTRIC, PSYCHIC, AND DARK!
