Oke, so is ther any secret to Beat Up by Sneasel that I happen to not know? Because a move that's learned by a pokemon at that late of a level has to be good somehow? There's gotta be a loophole?
Or did the creators just hate Sneasel?

It's true, Beatup is not a good move, but all your PKMN partisapating in one attack, thats pretty cool.
Hopefully, they make a better attack that is a bit like this one in the newer games coming out.

Well, while it is true that moves learnt at higher levels are usually better ones, it doesn't mean that all moves learnt at higher levels have to be good. For instance, Blastoise learns Skull Bash and Hydro Pump at levels 55 and 68 respectively, but these moves, while not too bad, are not good enough in view that there are numerous other alternative moves.

Gah, I'm I pretty big Sneasel fan too. Oh well, anybody have tips on how to use Sneasel effectively?
So far, I'm using Attract for it's horrible defense.
And I'm using Slash and Dig (against fire and rock) as offensive moves.
Any suggestions?

Beat up is like fury swipes, it's a multiple hit move.

My suggestion is to avoid teaching it Special Attacks as much as possible, and really take advantage of its high base attack (Shadow Ball, Slash, Cut, etc).

Shadow Ball is obviously Special.
I would know my togekiss has it.
Also if you look in the tech Dex it is clearly listed as a Special.

Plus why would physical attack lower Special Defense.

Before you start spewing more retardedness out of your ass, why don't you take a look at where you're posting.
JOHTO GENERATION. WHERE THE SPECIAL TYPES ARE:
ICE
FIRE
DARK
DRAGON
WATER
ELECTRIC
PSYCHIC
GRASS
Physical types are:
FIGHTING
STEEL
GHOST
GROUND
BUG
ROCK
FLYING
NORMAL
POISON
So you obviously "don't know" and are either too stupid or blind to "know." Try doing some research before attempting to be smart on a subject.

That was something Nintendo didn't catch. It's just one of those weird things.
Back on topic:
Sneasel's SpAtk is not all that great, and is best suited as a physical sweeper, with moves like Slash and the like. And I believe it learns Metal Claw in Crystal, but I'm not quite sure. My advice: Even though Beat Up is fun, it's not worth it.
