I still have my Genesis, and I've played it recently (though it's not hooked up right now). I love it--it was my first game system.
My favorite games for it: Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Gunstar Heroes (<3 ^_^), Vectorman, and Ren and Stimpy.

I never had a Genesis, but they were cool. I heard that the Revolution will have Genesis games in its download library.

I love my Genesis.
When you have played games such as Dynamite Headdy, Comix Zone, Toe Jam and Earl, Kid Chameleon, Vectorman, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Gunstar Heroes, you have lived.

Omg, Genesis is pwnage! That goes for all the games to, like Lion King and Ren and Stimpy, like you mentioned. I had alot of games for my Genesis, which included Sonic 1-S&K, Ms. Pacman, Aladdin, and many more which I can't think of. It was my first console ever, too.
Sadly, it broke a few years ago, and I now have to use an alternative Genesis.

My Genesis is still hooked up and functioning, and I use it often. It was also my first console, and the fact that I can relive all those games on the Revolution makes me happy. I miss the days of going out to rent all the games; they're actually rather expensive to buy from the used games stores, and you don't usually get the cases or instructions these days -.-;

My Genesis was given to me by my uncle, and it was the first video game console I've ever owned. Incidentally, it's also the last, since I never felt like buying the Xbox, PS, and whatnot.
Anyway, some of the games I liked have been mentioned by SK and Krisp already. Some other games I used to play were Street Fighter Turbo II (or some other corny name), Streets of Rage, Animaniacs (lol funny game), and some other titles I've forgotten. Brings back lots of memories =)
It's still functioning now, but I don't really have time for it, nor have that much interesting in video console games anymore.

Genesis was my first console as well, i bought it when it first came out and I think they labeled over the 300 mark...im not so sure because I was barely 6 or 7. I had Sonic the Hedgehog, all the street fighter games and such. My Sega broke down years ago so....it's kind of long gone.

Gameboy actually is not a console; its a handheld. For some reason, Gameboy is often refered to 'console', when its really only a handheld.

Sega Genesis was the first system I ever played. I used to sit in front of that thing for hours. I still do :roll: . Toejam and Earl: Take Back Of Funkaron was deffinitly the best game for sega. I might even defend it to the point of being the best game ever.
