If I suggest, before taking the elevator to face XD001, have the
Master Ball. Go to the PC and heal your Pokemon (in-out of PC) and leave an empty slot. When you face Lugy, MASTER BALL! HIYA! Then whoop Ele-Greevil with it. NOTE: Beware of Articuno, Zap, ad Molt. HArd to catch, but I did it, on the first whoopthrough.

You know, it is possible to catch Lugia without using a Master Ball, it just takes awhile. (My first Lugia stayed in a Pokeball) See My Quote below:

Also for Lugia, I never used my Master Ball on it or any other pokemon, if you have the Shadow Snorlax, Salamence and Lapras, you can survive pretty easily as long as you have Lemonades and some other items like Full Heals and Revives.

Also try different types of balls, Timer, Great and Ultra work best.

Ok, I'm about to get XD with my Christmas money and I've just got a few questions:

1) Does Lugia change colors when you snag it?

2) Are there any pokes that are not able to be traded to the GBA games?

3)What purpose do Bonsly and Munchlax serve in the game?

Hey Guys,
I have a question about the Orre Colosseum in Pokemon XD. In Pokemon Colosseum, a rule restricts Pokemon who has greater EVs then the 510 EV limit. Is it the same thing in Pokemon XD or is it like the Battle Frontier in Emerald? (The Battle Frontier actually permitted the max stat cheat codes from an Action Replay)

I've found an easier way of snagging pokemon, well it isn't easier but it increases your chances of snagging it, when the pokemon is in the pokeball, rotate your control stick (the grey one) and 90% of the time the pokemon will be snagged, I've actually tried this out and it does work. But back on topic, I got the game for christmas and haven't played on it much, just one question, when you battle the Cipher CMDR. If he beats you does it matter if he gets away with teh Data Disk?

Current Team:

Jolteon LVL 22
Nuzleaf LVL 23
Duskull LVL 22
Spheal LVL 21
Delcatty LVL 22

Hell yes your team needs more training! Get them all up to Level 55 at least! Do not return to Citadark Isle until that's done.

Meh, none of my Pokemon are up that high yet, and I've beaten Greevil twice

Yeah, all I used was Vappy lv 50, and S-Lugia...(I left a spot in my party before going up there and used the Master Ball on it, as stated before)
Mostly, Vappy went down quick, but Salamence saved the day...

purified all 83 shadows, beat mt. battle
current team:

Jolteon LV69
Moltres LV68
Rhydon LV68
Lugia LV67
Latias LV69
Blastoise LV69

and get this, they're rubbish! (except Jolteon and Lugia)

also, did any of you guys even use a whole team of shadows to fight Greevil!? (that's what I done, and emerged the first time with all 6 of "Elephant Boy's" shadows)
the key:
leave a space in your party before lugia, fight lugia, master ball it. (make sure Salamence and Electabuzz are at the front of the team.) fight greevil, withdraw mence, bring out lugia, electabuzz uses S-Half, next turn, use lugias move to heal Electabuzz with an item, once any shadow has about 6.5% HP, chuck ultra ball. Keep repeating this.
simple.
HAHA spoiler!

I just beat the Cipher Key Layer and I was going to head to the island after that but I noticed that my pokemon were to weak. So I'm doing Realgam Tower, Pyrite Colluseum and Mt. Battle. My pokemon are:

1. Mightyena Lv.40
2. Houndoom Lv.40
3. Ursaring Lv.41
4. Vaporeon Lv.40
5. Soon to be filled with Lugia
6. Used for purifying Shadow Pokemon.

I have around 35-45 shadow pokemon.
Purified around 25-30.

I don't think so. I do know it can learn it via the Move Rememberer on FR/LG, though, and that Gardevoir can learn Nightmare from the XD Move Tutor...

Using shadow Lugia to beat Greevil is cheap, thats why I did it lol

Have any of you guys watched the Dr.Kaminko videos? They are pretty funny, that nerdy guy comes and talks about all the "awesome" stuff Dr.Kaminko has made. You can find them right on the big TV screen when you walk into Kaminko's house.

Also, if you walk around Orre, you will find some ppl that bought his stuff, and then the junk was completely worthless. pretty funny

You must start from area 1, and defeat the Mt.Battle Master at area 10 without leaving Mt.Battle and later returning and comntinueing at an area greater than area 1, or switching any of your Pokemon using a PC during the challenge.

I take it that's the reason, but it could be different.

::EDIT:: W00t 600 posts.
