Once upon a time, Gardevoir~ was playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. Gardevoir~ happened to let her friend play, and he used her file, with her telling him before not to. Note: Gardevoir~ had been in Ganon's Tower and had almost figured out the invisible floor. Now, her friend walked right out and killed himself.





Gardevoir~ still struggles to get past there to this very day.

No matter who it is, I never let my friends play my files, for the above mentioned reasons. Especially if I'm hot with that game. I don't like taking any chances.

It is the same way with books, just modified a little. I don't let anybody take my books, period. I let someone borrow my book, and her grandmother used it for a hard surface for paper right? I find the cover imbedded with ball point pen marks. I was furious. But, books aren't games, so that means next to nothing in this situation.

But yeah, don't let your friends play there file. If they get mad, it sucks for them. You just need to explain to them that you don't want to take any risks. And if they pull out the old "friends trust each other" gig, don't buy it. I'd rather have my friend huff and puff about me for five minutes, rather than spending countless hours rebuilding what they deleted. Yeah, that may be a bit selfish, because friends should come before video games, but I'm sure they would understand in the end.

Urg...

1. I was playing my gold version one day, trying to get Opal (my prized and uber powerful espeon) to level 100, along with my ho-oh (they were both level 84)

I saved after my espeon hit level 90. And turned it off, then took the game out and decided to play Dragon warrior monsters, so I set my gold game beside me.

Luck has it that my cat bailey waltzed in and...wizzed on my gold game. So I prayed it work.

Not only did it stink of Cat...whatever...but the file corrupted and erased itself.

2. As mention dragon warrior monsters in the gold problem, I'll mention that it to suffered a fate like that an hour later.

I was playing on the can like usual, after FINALLY getting a Jamirus (this things are wicked hard to breed but kick 00ber butt). And I forgot to save. My brother ran in and as a cruel joke, pulled the game out of the socket.

;; bye bye Jamirus.

3. I hate this the most. I had finally gotten hero mode on Jak 2 (200 precusor orbs which are almost impossible to collect.) And with that, I played 9 hours STRAIGHT till 3 am to go against Metal Kor. I was so sleep deprived, that I fell asleep during the boss battle, and got killed.

Irony is after I died I kicked my memory card and messed it up. As in, the save file I was on, deleted.

And I was just about to beat that game for the 16th time to!

Well, he snuck on my file when I was watching TV. Now, I analyze him until he chooses his file. Another one of my "friends" (brat brat brat brat, etc.) just goes on my file and runs around in circles. What an insult to Link. >_>
Another I almost forgot about:
I had Super Mario 64. 116 Stars. Mom forced me to give to kid....place. Kid deletes file. I cry when I get home. IT SURVIVED A HOUSE FIRE!!! .....for vain. (Eh, dont ask about the fire thing..... v_v It was on the other side of the house.)


I never really forgave that kid. And that was 3 years ago. ;_;

i was playing emerald or any other gba game and it says that the light is green right, wrong, it just turned off. my batteries were messed up.

Playing Burnout 3 recently & was playing the Burning Lap in Waterfront(Bad idea, BTW!).About to get the Bronze when guess who comes on?Striker, the announcer in the World Tour.I ended up laughing so hard I crashed into a cab towards the very end of the race.As you can guess, I lost.Not only was I mad, but in pure frustration, I bashed my head against my controller!Thankfully, I didn't screw it up & the third time I played the Burning Lap, I got Silver.But everytime I hear Striker come on, I try to crash into something on purpose to avoid that incident again!

Killing Marg in Super Robot Wars 64 after I'd wiped out every single Enemy in the Mission...without saving.

I didn't realise that he had a "Godmars Corollary" too.

Well while playing Final fantasy tactics i had everything perfect...perfect team all classes ya know...perfect so while saving my stupid peice of **** dog decides to come jump on my lap....good right?
she didint hop enough to get on my lap and fell on the playstation button and you guessed it...my file is gone...

another was very angry to me.....
i was useing mysterygift with the N64 with my 'Perfect' game all pokemon and such....so i finish doing it but then to my horror i try to get out of the mystery gift girl and it wouldint let me....the n64 got glitched and my gold file was erased (man i was pissed)

then i was playing Crystal (borrowing from my friend) while my parents were looking at houses to buy....only 10 more pokemon till conpletion....well i take crystal out of my gameboy to play a dif game....and my bro bumps my arm and the game goes flying! smashes into the ground and the game never worked again....ever....hard time telling my friend this...

last one....
Road trip to kamloops! i woke up feeling really good we were all packed and ready to go i eat breakfast grab my Game boy color (and megaman pokeman crystal and harvest moon)so we get moving...things go great up until we get halfway to our destination... i put my GBC in the car holder thingy...and my older bro decides to be funny...he grabs my game boy and holds it out the window saying "ooooo look its gonna fall!" i freaked out at him to give it back and bumped his arm........bye bye gameboy... it went flying down the cliff...i never saw it again....but luckly it was megaman in the game boy...but i didint talk with me bro for a while

Man, i've been playing video games for 12 years so there are a lot of infuriating and saddening moments for me.

But the worst 3 are as follows.

1. My brother and i rented out a SNES and a copy of "Turtles in time"(best.ninja turtles game.ever.) We were up to the final level right before you face super-shredder, when my dog walked in and started sniffing around. Before we could get him out he pressed the rest button with his nose. Both my brother and I stared at the screen for a good 10 seconds before the terrible realization of what had just transpired sank in. However a few days later, we managed to beat the game so it's all good.

2.I was playing pokemon stadium ages ago with one of my friends.
We were taking it in turns to battle the elite four and we were up to lance(or whatever his name is, i can't remember). As usual, the computers strategy was to send out Dragonair, paralyze our pokemon with Thunder wave, and then proceed to Wrap us to death(since we always attacked last because of thunder wave, Dragonair would renew the Wrap cycle every turn and we never got a hit in).
After that one dragonair took out our whole team with the same strategy, my pal and I were understandably pissed off. We switched off the 64 and took the game cartridge out of the machine. We then procceded to "wall" the game, which is a term we made up especially for Pokemon stadium, this entaled hurling the game cartridge at the wall in frustration in an attempt to vent our spleens. In the past, any game we did this to had always survived, this time though i think we over did it. As we plugged the game back in, we found to our horror that it no longer worked, and not only did we lose our saved data, we lost all our best Red and Blue pokemon we had transfered onto the cart. But as it was our own fault, we took it marginally better than we would have otherwise.

3.This happened quite recently, and is surely the biggest rage-enducer of them all. I was playing "Tales of Symphonia", one of my most favourite games, I was right before the last dungeon(Mithos' Castle).
Now, one of my gamecube controllers developed an annoying involuntary twitch, the second controller would occasionaly, for no reason, and without being touched, stick the control sticks movements so that the gamecube thought the stick was being pressed downwards. This meant that when ever i went into the menu on the game, the second controller would make the cursor move down to the last option and stay there.
I had just started a new file on Tales of Symphonia, and was not even up to the first boss yet. As I went to save, controller No#2's spasms kicked in and just as i highlighted and pressed save, the cursor moved down two files and saved over the afore-mentioned "Mithos's Castle" file. This left me with two files barely started, and one(the middle one) only about a quarter done.
Considering that this game took about 56 hours to get to were I was, I was spewing my guts out in a psycotic tempest.

I apologize that was rather long, but I can't help writing(or typing) in this style.

I was playing my super rare panzer dragoon saga on the old sega saturn system. It was an amazing game, I had two sega saturns but for some reason both had damaged memory block thingys or whatever. So I was forced to play the entire game with my tv left on at all times, yes this means not shutting anything off.
This had problems written all over it. One time I was 4 hours into the game and my brother decides him and his friends wanna watch a movie in my room.
Another time only a few hours in I had a blonde moment and just shut it off.
Then, 17 hours into play.. signs all over my tv saying "DO NOT TURN OFF" I literally had a box that my sega saturn was in so that it wasn't accidentaly bumped or anything... I finaly beat it, then after that I beat it 4 more times before I was satisfied that I could turn it off. It was nice falling asleep without the annoying buzzing a tv makes.

to many great falls to tell............ alot of them............ I get so far, i THINK IT WAS THE GREATEST EVER, THEN DIE, OR GET STUCK IN BAD GRAPHICS, OR THE GAME FREEZES =(

I got another one.

X-men Legends (the first one) was my chosen game at the time and as I was playing, I got loads of Techbits (points). I decided to splash out on my team and buy the oOber armour for them all (Storm, Nightcrawler, Jean, Psylocke). Then, on the Astral Plane level I started to fight some crappy demons, with absolutely no techbits left that are spendable (nothing costs 4 techbits. try 600 000)

First, one demon uses a knockback on Storm, corners her and the demons beat her to death while my other members fight for themselves. Then, Jean went flying across the hall and over the side, into oblivion. Only Nightcrawler and Jean left. Jean then, with her rubbish defence started shouting "Help!" as more demons poured into the hallway and started slapping my helpless Nightcrawler about. Jean died and Nightcrawler _just_ survived. So now, with no techbits to revive the team, and no extras lying about, I was forced to erase the file and fall out with the unfairness that it was. And stupid save-addicted me had saved after buying the armour. *cringe*

At least XML2 was far better......and you could revive easier......

my worst moment was when i was playing Halo 2 on xbox live and my team was down by two. My brother comes home and starts bugging me. He starts making a big deal about 2 kills and starts annoying me. Then we got the lead and i was about to get a killamajaro and win the game. He unplugs the xbox when i was about to get the last kill to get my killamajaro. A killamajaro is like a double kill but 7 kills instead of 2.

I would've strangled him ^_^

Yes, yet another story to tell.

I was in Sudden Death on SSBM, Roy vs Sheik. I charge up my good 'ol Flare Blade, and when Sheik got close, WHAM. Only...she shielded and hit me right after >_< Bye bye, tournament.

But, the worst is getting pwned by Purin.

My parents turned off the GCN when I left it paused while fighting the Metroid Prime on Hard Mode.
