NintenDogs. It's really fun and very addicting. You just basically, play with and train with a dog. You can get awards and stuff too. An awesome game. I'd have it, but I don't have a DS.

Is it really necessary to post each time someone else does? Anyway, I got a DS for Christmas too. I have Nintedogs, Yoshi Touch and Go, Animal Crossing Wild World, and I might get Super Mario 64 DS later today. If you really want a good game, get ACWW. So far, its my favorite game for the DS. Its almost identical to the Gamecube game (Gameplay wise, although its a bit different.)

I haven't had time to play Yoshi Touch and Go yet, although I think I'm going to take that game back to the store....it doesn't seem too great.

Mario Kart DS
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Nintendogs (any version of it would be fine)
Meteos
Warioware: Touched
Super Mario 64 DS
Bomberman
Advance Wars DS
Kirby's Canvas Curse
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

If you're going to buy either MKDS or ACWW, I'd recommend getting a wireless router or the USB wifi access point Nintendo is currently selling. Not that the two games aren't good on their own, but there is much more potential for fun if you can go online.

Wi-fi? huh. I dint think I'd need to get acsessories but if it increases fun, I'm all for it! So are those the ONLY games nintendo has out or are there more and those are just the fun ones?

Currently, Nintendo only has MKDS, ACWW, and Tony Hawk's American Sk8land on their Wifi service. Metroid Prime: Hunters will be added when it gets released.

And now that I think about it, if you really don't want to have to buy a router, you might be able to wait a year, buy the Revolution, and use THAT as your wifi access point since the Revolution will be wifi-enabled right out of the box.

A good game IMO is Mario & Luigi: Stars in time

If you do get any games with WIFI go here: http://www.psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6225 cause we don't have but three people.

BYE :)

Okay; I'm a Nintendo fanatic, so I'll share my DS game suggestions with you......

-Mario Kart DS
Pratically the best in the MK series. It boasts both new and old tracks, new characters, new karts, and new features. This game is so much fun; it'll take up hours of your time even after you unlock everything (like me  ). I can't play Wi-Fi from my house because I live out in the country and only have dial-up. However, I plan to go to town soon and check out the hospital that has wireless routed throughout the entire building. Hopefully, it's DS compatible wireless.

-Animal Crossing: Wild World
This game is so totally awesome. Being a fan of the original Animal Crossing, I got this one ASAP. And boy, can I tell you this game rocks. It has everything great from the original multiplied x5. You won't be disappointed. Again, I haven't been able to tap into Wi-Fi yet, but I do know from sources that it rocks online.

-Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
You ever see/play Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for GBA? Well, this is sorta the same game, only even greater. Mario and Luigi go back in time and pair up with their baby selves to collect the Cobalt Star shards and save Princess Peach. The same great battle engine from the previous Mario & Luigi still stands, except now you get to fight with both adult and baby Mario Bros. I will tell you, this game has some very hilarious stuff. Luigi is a riot all by himself. If you like Mario games, you ought to pick this one up.

-Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Advance Wars was a popular game on the GBA. Now it's on the DS and even better. Now you can tag CO's, which means you control 2 in one battle. You can switch between them at the end of your turn to take advantage of their unique abilities. In addition, once their Super Power meters are full, you can attack with both CO's on the same day (as in get to move every unit twice). This is an awesome, time-consuming strategy game.

-Super Mario 64 DS
Super Mario 64+Nintendo DS=Awesomeness. Being a Mario fanatic, this is one of my all-time favorites along with Super Mario World. All the great things from the original are back but with more. Now there are 150 stars, and you can play as Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario in addition to Mario. Each have unique moves and styles, making for great gameplay.

-Sonic Rush
Classic Sonic speed demom? Awesome. Classic loop-de-loop mach speed 2-D levels? Coolbeans. Enhanced special 3-D graphics boss battles with classic 2-D control? Saweet. This is a must-have for classic Sonic fans.

-Nintendogs
I only recommend this game if you really think you want to spend so much time doing the same thing over and over again. Personally, I got bored with this game after two weeks. It gets kinda monotonous, so play at your own risk. o.O

-WarioWare: Touched!
This game really interprets the old WarioWare for the DS stupendously. Use of the touch screen in this game is wicked sweet. This game falls a tad bit short though. Nonetheless, a hilarious, fun, fast-paced game.

That's all I can think of for now. Remember, these are my personal opinions, so I don't wanna hear arguments fly. Later. 8)

alright, I got the most suggested games right here:

1. Mario Kart DS
2. Animal Crossing wild world
3. Nintendogs (any version)
4. Warioware Touched
5. Sonic Rush
6. Any Mario game (not enough space to list all titles)

So those are the games that have benn repeated most throughout this discussion. I went to EB Games the other day and I noticed a bunch of games, like Sims 2, sims bustin out, Spiderman (although I shouldn't really count that). Are these bad or just not tried and new...?

Get Mario Kart DS. I just did and am...VROOM....having fun. *Toad's voice in background cheering*
...ignore that...
Seriously, there's a truckload of new features. Missions, WiFi... etc. Only bad thing;
They took out Toad's "Im the best!" cheer..... *sobs*

Nintendogs or Mario Kart DS because those both rock.

Uh, I played WarioWare:Touched (is that the title?) and its pretty good. I like the crude humor. But, I would say maybe wait a bit. >_> You might know why I'm saying wait. *disco music and vampires come to mind*

I heard that Chronicles Of Narnia was supposed to be really good for it.
But, I haven't played that game on DS because I'm too cheap to buy one.
(:

I know CON is good for PS2, though..
