Here's my take on the Premiership this season.
<center>1. TITLE WINNER
Chelsea
Chelsea simply has the strongest squad in every department. In attack, Mourinho can opt for the technically superior Hernan Crespo, or go for strong physical presence by selecting Didier Drogba, with Eidur Gudjohnsen serving as a world-class backup for the two of them. In midfield, Claude Makelele is joined by Michael Essien, freeing Frank Lampard to make his forward runs and hence score his trademark piledrivers. Shaun Wright-Phillips, Damien Duff, Arjen Robben and Joe Cole provide four options on the wings. In defence, John Terry is arguably the best defender in England right now. He is partnered by Asier Del Horno, William Gallas, Paulo Ferreira, with Ricardo Carvalho, Robert Huth, Glen Johnson and Wayne Bridge as back-up players that can easily walk into any other club and be in the first team.
Need I say more?
<center>2. TITLE CHASERS (2 to 4)
Manchester United
Arsenal
Liverpool
<center>3. EUROPEAN QUALIFIERS (5 to 7)
Tottenham Hotspur
Charlton Athletic
Bolton Wanderers
<center>4. HIGH MID TABLE FINISH (8 to 10)
Middlesbrough
Manchester City
Wigan</center>

There will be no reason for chelsea to lose in this season. Strong team, a good streak, good defence and acceptable offence, no team can rally past chelsea to steal their championship.

I know its almost going to be Chelsea but I voted for Wigan . Wigan is now placing at the sixth and I think Paul Jewell will strenghten their team. Arsenal and Man.U is falling. Liverpool may also have a chance.

Looks like my predictions for Charlton and Middlesbrough are both wrong. They're languishing near the bottom half of the table.
Impossible, hfxjus. Wigan is but a newly promoted team. They will do well to remain in contention for a European berth. Liverpool has the best chance of catching up with Chelsea at the moment, as long as Peter Crouch continues to fire on all cylinders and Jamie Carragher maintains his excellent form.
Do take into consideration that Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool have strengthened their teams with world class players, unlike Wigan or even Tottenham Hotspur. Man Utd have signed Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic; Arsenal has signed the incredible Emmanuel Adebayor (who was the top scoring African in the African Qualifying Campaign for the world cup) and teenage sensation Theo Walcott; Liverpool has captured the services of Dannish prospect Daniel Agger, as well as Jan Kromkamp in a player swap deal involving under-performing Josemi. While it remains to be seen whether these players will make a huge impact on their respective teams, they might yet propel their teams up the table.
Still, I must admit that Chelsea are too far off the horizon in the Premiership standings. There's simply no capacity for them to slip up at this stage of the season. The depth of their squad is so impressive, they can even afford to ship England international Wayne Bridge to Fulham for the rest of the season
EDIT: Fixed all the mispellings in the poll options, and added Liverpool to the poll.

Yeah sNOwy might be right. Wigan can't be the champion but they are likely to survive in the league. Liverpool may still have a chance since its only 1 point away from Man.utd and two matches lesser than Man.utd. Yes, other teams have take in new players like Evra etc... and are hard to beat. Hope the next season will be better.

Why's this going to make them win the league even if they over take Man U than they have a 12 point climb up to Chelsea
Anyway Chelsea are clearly going to win this season as they have a very strong team and 3 very rich men in charge with a basically bottomless pit of money but Liverpool may win next season i'll give them that

The Premiership is boring again now.
When Chelsea were first took over it made things a bit more interesting than the Man Utd/Arsenal two horse race that it usually is. Now it's a one-horse race.
Lower league football is far more interesting.

Hehe indeed. Championship Football in England is actually the fourth most popular league in the world, replacing even the Serie A in Italy (or so I've read).
While Wigan won in last night's game, I still don't think they are going to pose much of a title challenge. Arsenal lost to Everton, which effectively ruled them out of the title race, if they haven't been ruled out already. It's down to Manchester United and Liverpool now

Today is going to be a big day. Manchester United vs Liverpool. Both of them are going to win and be the second after Chelsea. I think Liverpool might win.

Chelsea may win, they're 10+ points ahead of the runner-up. Although i'm a Man.U fan, Chelsea has strong players, good strategies, they might win.

In their draw against Charlton, Chelsea has proven that they can slip after all. But this doesn't affect their chances of retaining the title, simply because their rivals slip more often than they do. Liverpool could have taken this opportunity to catch up with Chelsea, but they lost to Man Utd instead. I think the title winner has already been decided. All that remains is the race to the second spot, and the automatic Champions League qualification spot that comes with it.

Runaway leader Chelsea has the highest chance to clinch the title coz they r currently leading man utd by more than 10 points, but i do think man utd still stand a chance as Chelsea is losing points quite frequently recently.

True, Chelsea are losing points at the moment, but I still insist that they will walk away with the title. Why? That's because the other "top" teams aren't there to capitalise when Chelsea loses points. Man Utd is having trouble in defence. Liverpool has the exact opposite problem; their strikers are not clicking. In fact, none of their strikers have managed to score any goals yet this year! Arsenal? They are lacking confidence. Their youngsters like Fabregas are not ready to play week in, week out, while their more experienced players, Sol Campbell in particular, are playing way below par. Tottenham often suffers last-minute lapses in concentration, resulting in loss of points. This can be seen in their recent draw with bottom-of-the-table Sunderland.
Call me a pessimist, but even though I'm rooting for Liverpool, the title is a foregone conclusion

I'm not sure. Chelsea is losing points and so are other teams. There was a 1-0 win over Arsenal by Liverpool. A small win. That will close the gap between them and Man.Utd. I always support Wigan even if they sucks. They perform not so good this period.

Well, unlike chelsea, liverpool and arsenal, man utd is not facing any champions league matches. Therefore it gives them an edge over the others. This might be a vital boost for them, who knows?

Today's the day when my fav team, Wigan is fighting Tottenham Hotspur. Pity that Tottenha, is the home team. Wigan's now the 9th and a win would pull them up.Lucky, Carama or whatever is back .

When have you started supporting Wigan, this season? You don't even know the name of their striker, which is Henri Camara
Anyway, while Wigan is boosted by the return of Camara, Tottenham welcome back Admed Hossam Mido too.
I think Wigan might be able to pull off a shock, but still recent statistics show that they have never done well against the top sides. I guess a realistic score might be a draw.

Wow, incredible, just like what sNOwy said,Tottenham and Wigan had a draw. The 2-2 draw is bad... *Sigh*
I guess the top 3 should be Chelsea,Mancheester.United and Liverpool.
The bottom 3: Sunderland,West.Bromich,Portsmouth
The 4th,5th,6th: Arsenal,Tottenham,Wigan or Bolton

*bows courteously* I guess I should become a football punter, eh? Just kidding
I hope Liverpool can clinch second place ahead of Man Utd (unlikely, but still possible) and for Middlesbrough to get to the FA Cup Final, so as to clinch a European slot (i.e. UEFA Cup). Even more unlikely, but if Yakubu and co continue their rich vein of form, anything is possible

I really enjoyed the West Ham V Liverpool match. I'm a Liverpool fan myself and it was one of the best games I've ever seen, I have to admit that West Ham played very well but Liverpool won in the end. Yayforsavedpenalties!
