No not the Sims, I hate those games. I'm talking about Sim City for your PC or Mac.
Our Tech project n school was to build and successfully manage a city for 300 years, so we played Sim City 2000 on a Mac. I was literally instantly hooked. I knew as soon as I walked out that class, I was going to buy it.
I just happened to go to Target, and just happened to see Sim City 3000 Unlimited on the shelf. So I bought it and have been hooked.
I've restarted my City four times now, but this time I think I got it. Sim City is a patience game. I realized as soon as they beg for something, they may want it, but don't need it right away. I spent money like crazy the first couple of times, but this time I got smart. Using that little "adjust your terrain" thing, I fixed up my terrain with no cost, which was cool. I zoned almost to perfection also. Now I'm in the year 1969, with $100,00+ and thriving. I haven't done much except for putting in some Alcatraz buildings, more zoning, and preparing. I'm saving up to put in an airport. Which once I got done estimating the figures, figured it would cost about $150,000 to put in the airport, and the highway.
So yeah, I have some saving to do.
So have you played either one of these games? Do you possibly own one? If so, let's chat it up and share some secrets.
