You know, I'm starting to get interested in boxing.

After reading about it, I realized that boxing is more than just physical stregnth; you have to have strategy and you have to know you're oppenent's weakness and strengths. You have to know when to dodge or block, or when to counter punch.

The only problem is my school doesn't have a boxing team or program. I'm kinda trying to find maybe a program for high schoolers that want to get into boxing.

Is anyone here into boxing? Perhaps maybe you could tell me about it from your view?

I had always thought about taking lessons to box. It looks like fun, and I'm a weakling. It's probably a really good way to stay in shape if you follow a training program. I'm sure there are a couple dozen places around me that have some kind of program.

There's definately a lot of strategy involved in boxing. Knowing what punches to throw, when to throw them, and where could definately make or break a fight. It's also good knowledge for self-defense. I don't know how it compaires to martial art, but I've heard a story of it's power. That's another reason why I'd like to take some lessons.

I still remember the Holyfield Tyson fight with the biting. That was funny, yet really shameful. That sucks for Holyfield's ear.

It can be relatively dangerous. But that's the same with many sports, I guess.

I have been boxing all my life.

It's a great sport and it takes alot of time and dedication to become a great boxer. Iran my own little program in my backyard (No, we didnt go haywire), we actually boxed and made a big deal of it.

I trained with people from Kronk Gym in Detroit and I have spooken with my hometown hero Bronko Mckart. I have had a good career until I found out about all my health problems.

I am going to be 19 on Decemeber third and im proud to say that I did a little retirement cermony. All my oponets were bigger and stronger then me.

11-0 7KOS

I still answer to any open chalenges.

If you need any Boxing questions Regi just PM, I will more then likley know them.

Boxing is one of my favorite sports.
I've never played it myself.
But it looks like fun, even though it would hurt...
