I hate Kecleon somehow. When it is hit by a dragonbreath, Kecleon turns into a dragon type and when it is hit by a dragonbreath again, it's super effective against {kecleon}

{kecleon} is ok. It can learn some good moves but it's stats aren't that good.

Besides the fact the Dragonbreath is all but useless. Kecleon is very helpful determining what HP your Pokemon has. But other than that, it's kinda useless.

Kecleon is alright, I don't really have a problem with it. It is the key to finding out your pokemon's Hidden Power too :D

Without going up against many different Pokemon.
If it is super effective against a Dragonair though, not a lot of choices. :P
Kecleon=Ok.

Kecleon rocks. His skyhigh SD makes Dragon attacks not an option when they do next to nothing to it. The fact it can learn skill swap also adds to it, swapping away Colour Change and using Return/Brick Break makes it fearsome.
A good set for it would be:
{kecleon}
Shadow Ball
Return
Skill Swap
Brick Break/ Focus Punch
Item: Lefties ftw

I like Kecleon, based on the fact that they allow you to derive your Pokemon's type of Hidden Power very easily.

Kecleon's Trait is also rather amusing, and can be used to good effect with Skill Swap, like Eswin said.

I personally prefer psycho_freak's moveset for it, which can be found in the Creative Movesets Hall of Fame:

{kecleon} @ Leftovers | Color Change | Adamant Nature
Skill Swap - Thunder Wave - Shadow Ball - Brick Break
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP

Edit: Changed the title of the thread.

Kecleon is annoying. I don't like it. That's how I beat it anyway, by turning it ability against it.

Kecleon's biggest weakness is it's terrible ability, because its stats are okay (special defense is ridiculous. defense is passable, as is attack).
But it learns skill swap, which dumps that ability onto the foe. Unfortunately, there's not much else that Kecleon is going to do, because
Color Change is such a crutch and it doesn't learn agility to up is awful speed or something like iron defense to work with its defense stat.
So Kecleon doesn't make much of a sweeper or a tank.
Absorbing special moves and giving someone Color Change to deal with is pretty much all that Kecleon can do,
but he does it well.

So Kecleon, although limited, is good because it can own someone's Alakazam. Or something like that.

To me, Kecleon is one of the most creative Poke'mon from Gen 2 - Gen 5. The idea of taking a chameleon's ability to change with it's environment and turn it into the Color Change ability is pretty smart of them.

Although I wish that Gamefreak will make a GOOD evolution for Kecleon.

I agree. It is especially weak to Poke'mon that knows different types of moves.

Example: Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert knows ground type moves. I use it first on Kecleon to make it ground type. Then I use a water type move to finish Kecleon off.

~

My Kecleon's movepool:

Skill Swap
Dig
Rain Dance
Thunderbolt
