 Wild evolution question

Post Wild evolution question
I have captured a bunch of pokemon from Johto in the Safari Zone my only problem is that most if not all of them are at higher levels then they would evolve at. Do I need to breed them or will they still evolve?

Instead of asking us, you could've tried to evolve one yourself by leveling it up once.

Yeah. All you need to do is level up any over-level pokemon and they'll evolve anyway.

Unless they're at level 100, no problem. Level them up by 1 level. The levels stated for evolution are minimum values, not fixed values.
