i'm sure there is a new ability or move that makes it so. the only possible i see is facade, but is that effective? also, is it normal poison or toxic type?

I think it's supposed to be toxic, but someone might wanna verify that :S
Anyways, Breloom gained the 'Poison Heal' ability, which acts as leftovers.
Plus, some pokemon have the 'Guts' ability, which increases their attack by 1.5x - Though they won't last very long with toxic :

Hope that helps ^^;;

Fling a Toxic orb, and the opposing pokemon takes damage and is toxic-poisoned at the same time.

When your Pokemon holds it, they become poisoned.
Milotic has Marvel Scale, which ups defense when she's poisoned.

Therefore, give her the Toxic Orb (or the Burn Orb) to hold to induce a status to kick in Marvel Scale. Yes, its a self-sacrifise, but hey.

Combo...

A pokemon with Potect, Facade, two other moves (doesn't matter), Toixc Orb or Burn Orb, and the ability Quick Feet equals one quick fighting machine. Facade already gets a boost from Poison and Burn, and with Quick Feet to double speed then your Pokemon can take out anything that's not Rock, Steel, and Ghost in one or two shots.

Yes, that sounds like the most usefull possiblity but there are plenty more. Just be creative. I think the Breloom one works the best though.

use it on swellow or granbull and u have a beast w/ a stab facade
breloom also works well
u can also synchronize w/ the burn orb to disable physical sweepers, or use any of the other ones

Clefable @ Toxic Orb
Magic Guard | Adamant
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 SDef
~Belly Drum
~Wish
~Facade
~Meteor Mash

Wish on the first turn, then Belly Drum and your HP will hopefully recovered if you can survive a turn. Poison damage from Toxic Orb will not damage Clefable thanks to Magic Guard but it will double Facade's power. If you have max attack at Clefable (262) after a Belly Drum it will raise to 1048. And Facade's Base Power will raise to 210 thanks to STAB+Status. Hope this helps.

Note: Idea by AABM :p

I made a set like this in the Battle Tower section, but Ursaring makes a far better Toxicfeet.

Ursaring@Toxic Orb
Facade
Close Combat
Crunch
Fire Punch/Stone Edge

With a 130 base attack and STAB on Facade it will KO almost anything that doesn't resist. A good speed IV puts its Speed over 400 too with maxed EVs and Jolly.

Facade, Quick feet, Guts are around

also good for tricking, and when you get tricked (they give you a useless item, they get toxiced).

Poisonheal breloom really benefits.
