Hiya! I recently got PMD-Blue, and I'm loving it so far...but...I was wondering one thing. It seems that in this game there are "Wondermails", which, apparently, are long strings of passwords that you can input to allow one person to access your game, and "un-freeze" you, and revive you. I have one question though. I was also told that two people can do this WITHOUT WIRELESS. How is this possible?

Please, go into as much detail as possible...

Well, that's pretty simple.

Since the Wondermail has a password, there is a function on both PMD Red and Blue that allows you to input Wondermail passwords into the game. The Wondermails will then appear on your job list.

The same thing (or a similar thing) works for rescuing a friend out of a tight spot. It's a game that allows people to help others across the world, provided they post a Wondermail or SOS Mail, like here on Psypoke, regardless of system (GBA or DS).

The only real differences in PMD Red and Blue is that one is for GBA, the other for DS, and there are a few version exclusives. However, inputting certain Wondermail codes will unlock those version exclusives.

Ok, I still don't get how it can work without wireless though. Does each character of the password represent a variable, like the pokemon, location, floor, etc? And when a friend puts it in...the game reads those variables and generates YOUR current situation on your FRIEND'S game? Then, once you're rescued, what happens? since there's no possible way for your game to receive an update as to something that happened on another game?

There is a delecate formula to it. Each charchter inb the password has a code that tells the game the job done.

You hit the nail RIGHT PERFECTLY on the head, my friend. And once you're rescued, the rescuer sends an AOK mail (which follows a formula that I have figured out, and is in the rescue center), then you can keep going.

Ok, so, one confirmation.

You send them a password which tells their game about your status

They come and help you on their game

They give you a password that gives the other game's approval saying "you've been rescued"

This covers the concept of SOS mail, but what is Wondermail? And how do you designate rewards for it? Also, where on my friend's game would he input my SOS password were he to try and save me?

Wondermail are missions done for NPC clients. The possibilities are virtually limitless; however you can't do the same mission twice.

And yes, were your friend to try and save you, all that would be needed would be to input the SOS code (and save you, of course).
