i think that too because i could have had a mew and deoxis for my friend but it wouldnt let me trade. *glares at friend angriley*

ive heard that if you cheat to get a deoxys it wont obey you, and some people have said it cant be traded. i have a legal one, and it obeys and trades without any problem. ive even migrated it to pearl. |

Well as for the form, if you have transfered it up to pearl, you can go to vielstone, and as long as deoxys is in your party if you talk to those weird rocks on the lower right hand side of town you can change his forms. 4 rocks, 4 forms. |

If you hack a Deoxys, it won't obey you and can't be traded in any way. You must have a legit (or at least semi-legit) Deoxys caught at Birth Island, or a clone of one. Otherwise, it's almost useless except in link battles (everything will obey you in a link battle). The same thing goes for Mew. (I've done them both.) - DNA |

Cheated Deoxys's can't be traded. We even tried trading it to XD and Deoxys appears in a big red box just like the Pokemon Eggs on the 3D PKMN Games. |

I have a Deoxys like that and I will tell you the rules of it 1. No trading to ANY versions other than ruby/saphirre 2. It will obey you 3. You can transfer it to Pearl/Diamond |
