My party is as follows:
Pikachu (im gonna evolve it when it learns Thunder)
Venusaur
Charizard (starter)
Blastiose
Machop (It will be a Machoke soon)
Rhyhorn
Is it Diverse Enough?
Or am I missing something?

If you want a real team rate, go to the Rating Center and post your team there. If you go there, it would also help if you posted them along with the movesets that you have or are planning for them. However, I will leave this open as long as you don't start talking about the movesets.

Adding to that, how did he get Blastoise as well!
(I suppose he has the other game or did the whole get his friend to start the game with him, trade each one over, then do the same back. Highly confusing indeed.)
I don't like Fighting types for the reasons that they are ugly and the only good move they learn, Brick Breakm can be taught via TM. So, I would advise getting rid of Machop and getting a good old Abra. Even if you can't get it to evolve into an Alakazam, Kadabra's are exceedingly strong whilst in game.

thunder is a horrible move
70% accuracy just doesn't cut it for me. just get a nice lookin thunderbolt sure 25 dmg off but 100% accuracy

Thunder isn't bad when you use it with Rain Dance it's Accuracy is at 100% so it isn't that bad of a move.

Well get Machoke and evolve it and Get Rydon too if not your team isn't so bad at all.6/10
