Well, I don't think it was the best idea to pair up a grass and water type :? . I would've chosen a fire type or an electirc type to pair with a water type. Anyways, I suggest you bring a bunch of Reviver Seeds and Oran Berries.

Bring a full party of four members, and hide behind the other three while throwing Gravelerocks. If that still doesn't work, you might want to try levelling up further before challenging Articuno again. Also, Reviver Seeds and Oran Berries, as suggested by Youkou no Mugon, are also good ideas.

Snowball, I think the poster is still a fugutive...
so he can't recruit any pokemon or bring a recruited member yet....

From my shear memory....
If you could try to be level 25-27.... 26 or 27 is suggested.....

I actually use chickorita and charmander combo...
If chikorita is your main, Razor leaf the articuno in the first turn....

do you mind telling me who is your main pokemon, the level they are in, and the moves they know...? so that I can create a strategy for you?

totodile is the main pokemon....
interesting

what level are they?

I also suggest you to train a few levels in the snowy path... it is useful to be level 26+ for the legend birds

before you reach articuno, enable your chikorita to use reflect... then wait until it uses reflect... after that, enable synthesis and razor leaf, and have poison powder disable... (apparently legends seem to immune to effects or something...)

for your totodile... I was hoping if you could use bite... because if articuno cringe, it stalls 1 little turn that helps defeat it.... Leer is also great in the addition...

good luck!
but i still want levels...

Ah, my apologies. But my strategy of hiding behind the partner Pokemon and throwing Gravelerocks can still work =)
