I just restarted my Emerald game so that it can be my "breeding, EV training and cloning slave". but anyway, i started to breed for a female, adamamt jolly swablu. i caught a female mild swablu and a male quiet one. i bred abot 30 eggs i a finaly got a adamant swablu, but it was male... :( so i gave an everstone to the male adamant one and to the female mild one already in the daycare and i started breeding thinking it was gonna be easy to get my adamant swablu..... boy was i wrong! I've got 64 swablu 12 of them mild, the same male adamant swablu and a shiny quiet one... what are the chances
plz tell me if im doing something wrong!!

I think the everstone trick only works in Gen IV. I was sad too... :(

The Everstone trick works in Emerald. Giving the Everstone to the female or Ditto gives the babies a 50% chance of having the Female's nature. Giving the Everstone to the male has no effect.

I gave it to my Ditto and it didn't seem to be 50%...

(Either that or I'm REEALY unlucky...)

the emerald breeding guide says if the male and female hold an everstone there's a 50% chance to get eithers nature.

so what gives???
