Smeargle Troubles

I've caught many Smeargle, but I don't understand how you use Sketch to get a proper moveset. Anyone have advice?

Getting Sketch to work to attain the move you want is quite annoying in Single Battles against one in-game opponent (since Sketch fails in a link battle). This is why I recommend you use double battles to get your Smeargle to sketch moves. Let's say for example that you want a Raichu's Thunderbolt on your Smeargle. Get the Raichu knowing Thunderbolt and your Smeargle, go out, find Gabby and Ty and battle them. Make Raichu Thunderbolt the Exploud, then get Smeargle to use Sketch on Raichu. Just make sure that Raichu is faster. That way, it is easier to Sketch any move of your choice.

Wait a second... Isn't Smeargle not available in RSE? Or did I miss a crucial class in Hoenn Pokedex?

Smeargle can be caught in Artisan Cave in Emerald Battle Frontier.

My fault! I forgot about that and the expanded Safari Zone also...
