I just hatched a level 5 gardavoir it took forever to do and was not worth it but it does work. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pomeg_glitch now if only I could use it it for Tyranitar...... |

Grats! I'm going to try that. I want a level 5 Blaziken or something! Then I can put in in Wi-Fi on diamond. Battling with a level 5 Flygon or Salamence would be fun, too. |

At least, if you can do the cloning-glitch, you don't have to worry about wasting money on the whatcha-macallits you use to make the base HP go up. (BTW a Rare Candy can work like a Revive, but it only gives it 1-5 HP) |

I tried the pomeg trick and it failed; I used my only whatcha-macallit on a Wingull without thinking! I wish I would've saved that, and my master ball, for cloning. I have LG/FR, E, D/P/Pl and only 1 of those games has a glitch, actually 2 glitches, that's why I love Emerald. Question: If you hatched a suppose Eevee egg, would it be eevee or a random evolution? Or a Poliwag egg, or anything that has more than one final evolved form, for that matter. |

I'm not one to try glitches... [The only reason I got 151 on Blue, and shortly Red, is because my brother got Mew...] As for the Eevee egg, it will always become an Eevee. You still have to evolve it... 
Poliwag has to go through Poliwhirl before it has two evos... So it's the same. There's always trying it again, khoufu! AEPMT

What? I tried it and it didn't work. I've done the reducing HP to -1 before. But it didn't make the egg battle! It sent out blissey (the only other pokemon in my party. That was the one that was affected). So I ran away and used a potion on it. Now I learned it had -2 HP instead of -1. It's HP is really high so the pomeg reduced by 3 instead of 2. But after it fainted I battled again with still the egg first in my party but out came blissey. Then I whited out after deciding it wasn't going to work and attacking. What did I do wrong? /vXv\, how did you do it? What are all the steps you used? Another idea I had was, if you bothered spending the time or waiting a while, you could get a level <55 dragonite like the one they gave out in this one DPP event at a Toys-r-us. I didn't go (since I don't have a DS) but I heard about the lvl 50 dragonite they were giving out. They said its special since dragonite evolves at level 55. EDIT: OK, I got it to work but I still don't know what I did wrong with blissey. But now I have more questions. 1. When I battle with the egg, then battle with it again, the EXP that I should have earned from the last battle don't show up in the bar. Is it still there? 2. Do rare candies work (I can dream, can't I)? 3. Why don't we sticky this and make it a guide to the pomeg glitch? 4. Can someone take a picture of an egg in battle (either higher than lvl 5 or evolved) and post it here? 5. When will the questions end?
