Hi I AM Having trouble in pokemon sapphire for the past 3 weeks ive been looking for 1 pokemon and i haven't been able to find him if you could tell me how to catch Relicanth #179 {relicanth} i would be very greatful

Relicanth is found underwater. Prepare for a long trip, because the encounter rate is quite low in Underwater areas, and Relicanth appears quite rarely (5%).

I couldn't find anything in the EV training guides so i wanted to know...

If you trade a pokemon to R/S/E, it gains boosted EXP, but does it also gain boosted EVs, or do the EV's from defeating a pokemon with a trade pokemon stay the same?

So then, while a traded pokemon will recieve extra experience in battle, it won't gain extra ev's?

Only the experience of a traded Pokémon increases, not the amount of EV's, meaning that traded Pokémon will be at a much higher level once it has max EV's.

I have a question, Feebas, if you give it a blue scarf when its got nearly enough beauty for evolving, will the blue scarf count towards the beauty requirement for evolving? Or does the blue scarf only increase beauty in contests?

It only enhances Beauty in contests unfortunately, and you only get the Scarf after having full Beauty so wouldn't your Feebas already have evolved?

I have a blue scarf from a previous Feebas, but my bro' transfered it to his Diamond so i've gotta get another Milotic on Emerald. Won't be a problem, i was just curious.

7 months since i've been on this forum...

Can i not evolve Feebas before i take on the elite 4?

i've been waiting for the news and it hasn't said anything about a berry master or anything at all.

i want my team when i kill elite four (i restarted my game) to be

Salamence
Aggron
Absol
Skarmory
Flygon
Milotic

It is possible to evolve Feebas without the Berry Master, although it is more difficult.

Just go around catching pokemon to fill your dex, and go into a house with a T.V. every few minutes to see if it's on. It helps pass the time.

If I recall correctly, defeating the Elite Four will increase the chance of events.

If an event occurs, the TV will have a daily announcement prior to the event - checking the TV every few minutes will not increase the chance of an event occuring.

In Emerald, it doesn't do TV events like the Berry Master, or half off sales at the slateport market until after you've beaten the elite 4. At least, it never did for me.

One of my friends just gave me their old emerald game, and it has a deoxys on it. Does anyone know how I can tell whether it's been obtained through an event vs just through a gameshark or something?

Check to see if it obeys you in battle, then check and see if it has a Pokedex entry. If it was caught at Birth Island, then it's impossible to tell, because you can cheat for the in-game events OR get them legitimately.

Emerald doesn't have the berry glitch, so your internal battery is probably dead, which prevents the passage of time.
