RSE has an internal battery that keeps track of the time. Unless you have a message saying your internal battery died (in which case time based events will stop) one day will be 24 hours in real life.

ummmm, unfortunatly i have that message appaering:D is there any chance for me to survive?...erm, i mean to get my berry?

If you connect your game to Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Colo, and maybe XD, that glitch is stopped.

I think those are the correct games.

The berry glitch is not the same thing as the internal battery dying. The berry glitch is from software, the internal battery dying is a hardware problem. It may be possible to send the game to Nintendo to have them fix it, check their website for more information.
