Breeding treeko

I have been trying to breed a treeko who knows earthquake. I breed a male ryhorn who knows earthquake and crunch with a female treeko but the babies only know crunch. In the breeding guide it says that the father most know the tm and the baby must be able to learn it. what am i doing wrong?

The problem is that Treecko does not learn Earthquake through TM (or in any other way for that matter).
Look here You may be confused by the fact that Sceptile can learn Earthquake by TM, but it has to be the baby, Treecko, that is able to learn the move by TM. _________________ And what it all comes down to is that everything's gonna be quite alright |

Yea i lokked thats what confused me, so you have to use the tm to get sceptile/ treeko to learn earthquake?
