ok, so i was breeding for my perfect(to my standards) eeveelutions and out popped a shiny eevee, so now i have a 7-way dilemma; which eeveelution to evolve it into?

shiny lvl 1 stats:
Nature: Timid
Characteristic: Good endurance
HP: 12
Attack: 5
Defense: 6
Sp. Atk: 6
Sp. Def: 6
Speed: 6

so which eeveelution do u guys suggest?
? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Note: for those who are lazy to check, Timid reduces atk and increases speed.

Hold it there, Bushin. I don't think those are the IVs, since he/she/it posted the characteristic; he probably didn't check them, so they're actually the stats at level 1.

I would say clone them and then you can have all 8. I can clone them for you...it's not like I'm going to clone one for myself without your permission... <-- you are now hypnotized by Eevee.

There is a way of getting at least more info about him...
Save your game...
put him on daycare and walk until he got at level 30...
See his stats on a iv calculator...turn off you game...
you can get at least a better chance of knowing his approx. IVs...

hey, great job Wolfynx!! not only did you randomly get a shiny, but you got a reaaly cool one! my wife was annoyed when she found a shiny grimer!

unless you are against cloning, i would also recommend cloning it and having one of each shiny eeveelution. if you dont know how to clone, you could get someone else to do it for you - i would offer, but i'm not very easy to trade with, being in a different time zone (australia).

i'm also guessing that those are the stats at level 1. try doing what bushin said, and post the stats at a higher level - maybe something like 10-20. then we can work out how good it is!

on a side note, ive heard that if you save before you pick up an egg, if it turns out to be shiny, then it will still be shiny on each reset, allowing you to try and get a flawless shiny! someone on smogon hatched a beastly shiny poliwag in this way...

thanks for all of ur opinions on this, i'll get the eevee to a higher lvl and post it. juz give me awhile. also, it not that im against cloning, its juz that if i do, then all my eeveelutions will be the same...

Pretty bad, imo. I'd use it just for in-game play.

Also, Cuddles, I heard when you get the egg, EVERYTHING is set, including IVs. Are you sure that they didn't hack?

ermm... i didnt need that much details, i just needed opinions on which eeveelution would best fit this shiny eevee's stats.

Judging only by nature, it would be a waste to get a Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon or Leafeon.

Jolteon and Espeon are probably the best two for sweeping sets and Glaceon for a Hail Team.

You're missing a stat. There's 6, whereas you have 5. There should be another 20-24 in there.

Yeah, I didn't know that you could SR for a shiny egg pokemon like that. Too bad I'll never be lucky enough to get one.

some things are determined when an egg is CREATED. and some things are determined when an egg is RECEIVED.

CREATED - nature, ability, gender.

RECEIVED - IVs.

until then i didnt know whether "shininess" belonged in the first group or second. but apparently it belongs in the first group.

this kind of information is useful if, for example, you are trying to hatch something like a good female adamant rock-head aerdactyl. with everstones, there is a 1/32 chance of that happening. so, to save time. you can save the game when the man has an egg. then hatch it and see if its got the right nature/gender/ability. if not, try againwith the next egg, and keep going til you have saved in front of an egg with the right stuff. then you can hatch it, check IVs (using rare candies or whatever), and reset if it isnt good enough for your standards. next time you turn it back on, you can collect an egg with the right stuff, but different IVs.

but this is off topic. if you want to pick the coolest eeveelution, i say go with green espeon. it suits the timid nature and the only other eeveelution which goes well with timid is jolteon, which doesnt look very much different from non-shiny jolteon. just my opinion!!
