I went to the item guide for Heart Scale and it only gave me 2 locations for it. Do anyone else know the other locations for Heart Scale in Emerald. |

heart scales are also held by  . fish with a super rod or good rod in evergrande city with a pokemon who knows"thief" to be able to rake in the scales fast. you can also find luvdisc on route 128. if this isn't what you meant then there are some dark spots underwater (you can tell the diffrence but look carefully) sometimes it's a heart scale.

I think you can use Itemfinder underwater to find them? But if you're getting them off Luvdisk, use Covet, rather than Thief (40 PP vs 10 PP). About a 50% chance, I think. |

Well I am playing the game the first time through (emerald) and I am looking everywhere for items/trainers/berries/anything so I talk to everyone and go to every possible place I just got dive, and well I have a total of 4 heart scales now.. Two of them I got after lillycove, both underwater I think. as for the covet thing, heres a list of who learns it http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/343 |

WHY, didn't i know this before now. i tell you why. BECAUSE NO STUPID COMPUTER TEACHS THERE FREAKING POKEMON COVET. I've been wasting my time using thief 7 times without success when there was an easier solution. |

It would be nice, though. In that case, check the underwater rocks - there are often items in those. |

linoone , zigzagoon learn covet , and aren't that hard to learn it illumise learn it to, but thats a harder one i used linoone to get off a lot of hearth scales and other valuable items |

There's a reason we have a main site...using the Psydex Search, you can see all pokemon that learn Covet. |

just buy a couple of ultra balls, catch as many luvdisc as u want. go to your pc box and see which ones are holding a heart scale. |

Not only do Zigzagoon/Linoone learn Covet, but they might pick it up with their ability. Not sure on the rates for Heart Scale, but if I remember right, it's rare. The best part about Pickup is that the Pokemon doesn't even have to be in front for it. Just go to Luvdisc places, and Pick it up off of them. Hope this helps! AEPMT

They're sometimes hidden in rocks. For instance, go east of Mauville City, and I believe one of the rocks beside the fisherman contains a Heart Scale. |
