An "ingame" day is just as long as a normal day. but depending on what time you set your clock, the next day happens at the same time you set it. 24 hours into the future

yeah, as example, if you set "what time is now" at 05.00 AM the next day is at 05.00 AM, but if you set it "10.53 PM" the next day is 10.53 PM.

However it doesn't really matter-berry grows by HOW LONG they have planted, not by HOW MANY days you've passed. And there's no day and night in Sapphire.

I'm pretty sure you go up to the clock in your room.

but you can't change the clock time again so be careful when you set it or you might be stuck waiting until midnight before a new event happens

For things like the lottery that happen every day are they recharged at midnight or after 24 hours?

actually, the time is used to grow berries, because my internal clock ran dry on ruby adn i caouldn't do any more time event, including berry growing.

and yes, there is no night in R/S/E.
Mod Edit: Yes, because time stops running completely. What psynvrn said still stands, though, it's the time passed that matters for berries, not the days passed.
And while there is no time when everything gets dark, there are two distinct night and day periods, which allow you to get Espeon and Umbreon. -JsXtm
