Hey. Im new to generation 3 and im planning to purcase 3 different games. What i wonder is which of the 5(emerald, ruby/Sapphire, Lifegreen/Firered) should i choose to make sure i capture every pokemon accessable in these versions? Example: Emerald, Ruby and Firered.

If im not able to capture them all with those examples will gameshark help me safely? Like i use the gameshark to create a totodile in ruby will it show in the dex? I used gameshark on emulations on my computer and i never got the pokedex updated when i put the code in the game. Will trading the cheated pokemon perhaps help updating the dex?

No fun if i cant capture them all... if i need all 5 generation 3 games to get them all ill settle with emerald and firered with a gameshark.

If you want to catch every pokemon available in the third Generation, you need all five games. There are pokemon exclusive to each and every one.

Don't know about the gameshark questions, I don't use one.
