Do all Hoenn Pokemon appear in Emerald (Basic and some Evolved)

No, they do not all appear in Emerald. Check the Psydex's Location information, to figure out which ones you need to trade from R/S.

ummm, the psydex says you CAN find seviper in emerald/Sapphire. so ya

yes, you can find seviper. but not zangoose - maybe thats what they were thinking about. you also cant get meditite or surskit. there might be more. so if you have emerald, you will need to get BOTH ruby and sapphire to complete your pokedex!

You could just buy XD if you have a cable. All those pokemon are either shadows or Duking trades.

there are many sources ive seen that says you cannot find lunatone, surskit, meditite, zangoose, etc, but ive seen and caught all the pokemon that are said not be found in emerald (except zangoose), but i had to wait for those news things on the tv that says "a swarm of w/e is on route w/e". but those events are pretty rare i guess, so not everyone has seen it
