i dont see any point to protect in ur . do you? might as well remove it and replace with something like double team, body slam, or toxic. again theres not really much point to ur having having detect so y not give it pin missle? cant learn solarbeam so the only way to get it is by cheating instead give it something more orthodox like return or shadowball to feed its amazing attack stat? it the process u might as well take out the sunny day and put on something useful like quick attack or bite. should probably switch out mimic for baton pass and if u really want to add something like attract to go with swagger? ur approach to is mixed, so thats kinda wierd. i mean the fact that u have shadow ball and faint attack is probably unnecessary. keep shadowball if u really want an offensive one. its generally better to go with a defensive, annoying tank for umbreon b/c if u check its attack rating, ull be surprised to find an abysmal one. try baton passing the mean look instead or just switch out faint attack for moonlight and ull be fine. edit: o and im not really a rater so anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong... |

I'm not an offical rater yet, : Works, if you wanted too you culd try the Meganium set posted awhile ago. : Rest over protect. : Thunder Wave over Detect, and Bite over D-Team if you can get it. : Try Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, Body Slam/Return and some other move like Attract, Toxic, Double Team, etc. And I don't think Flareon can learn Solarbeam. : I don't know why, but i've always liked Bite on here, try it over Mimic. You could also try Sunny Day, Psychic, HP Fire and Moonlight. : Try Confuse Ray over Moonlight and Body Slam or Bite over Faint Attack. |

Blaziken386 wrote: I would prefer items that I can get before beating the Pokemon League and without the use of Mystery Gift What we make are merely suggestions for items that you should use eventually, so it is perfectly alright if you use inferior items such as berries and stuff like that for the time being. Then when you manage to get items such as Leftovers, you can replace the inferior items. |

Fly ? ? ? Try Wing Attack, Steel Wing, Attract and Return, Fly isn't that good. Attach Leftovers, Miracle Berry or Brightpowder Surf Ice Beam Hypnosis ? Try Submission and EQ over Hypnosis and ?, alternatively you can trade it back to RBY and teach it Fissure and Let it learn Mind Reader. Attach Leftovers or Miracle Berry Guillitine Lock-On ? ? Well we don't usally rate smeargles, but you could try the BatonPasser, @ Brightpowder Agility Amnesia Swords Dance Baton Pass Works Great if you can pass it to a physical sweeper. or, @ Brightpowder Lock-On Fissure Horn Drill Guillotine Lock-On, OHKO. (Odd Egg cheat) Flame Thrower Dizzy Punch ? ? Thunderpunch, Psychic and HP Grass over the 2 ? and Dizzy Punch, attach Leftovers, Miracleberry or Brightpowder. Feint Attack Mean Look Toxic ? Bite over Faint Attack and you can put Confuse Ray in the open slot. You could also try Body Slam instead of Bite/Faint Attack. Attach Leftovers. Earth Quake Light Screen ? ? You could try the Sunny Beam set, @ Leftovers Sunny Day Solarbeam Synthesis HP Fire (If you're lucky)/Rest If you don't like that you can try, @ Mint Berry/Leftovers Swords Dance (Requires Breeding, if you don't want to breed you can try Razor Leaf) EQ Body Slam Rest Any suggested movesets to go with thes attacks? |

I know for a fact that in order to get Left Overs you have to fix the Power Plant in order ot get the Poke Flute music on the radio in order to wake up a level fifty , then capure it and take it's Left Overs away, and that you can get some left overs from the trash can fron the diner in Celedon City. and Kings Rock (of which I was not refering to) requires Surf and Strength to get to the end of the Slopoke Well, where you will run into a proffesor who is studying 's evolution (possebly the same proffesor who Ash was sent to see in the anime!) |

And I do not really like to use Hidden Power, unless I know what type it is, but sadly the only way that I can figure that out is if my Pokemon is already level 100 with no ehancers such as Iron, Corbos, Protien, and HP up. |

heres just my bit on umbreon: being a very weak attacker and having very high defensive stats would delegate this pokemon to playing a more defensive position in the team. since umbreon is one of few pokemon that can baton pass a mean look so i highly suggest this course. obviously u can use it as a tank to stall and then just attack, but think about the ramifications of wat a baton passed mean look really is. it means u can trap any pokemon then baton pass to a type advantage. u'd be able to control the entire game from that perspective because ur opponent wont be able to switch out against ur pumped-up (if u baton pass a double team or curse along with the mean look) type-advantaged pokemon. go team! |

@ Charcoal -Swift -Flame Wheel -Cut (I know, bad choice, I don't know why I taught him it, I might give it a relpacement, but what?) -Flamethrower @ Mystic Water -Aeroblast (Who cares if its outdated as hell, I'm not sorry, the we're not idiots thing just proves your an idiot, yeah, you can learn it through stadium but who cares? It was just a sarcastic little comment there and you decided to be an ass and point it out when you were completely in the wrong, would've said this two and a half (jesus) years ago but I figured I was too new to do anything like this, but screw that, so, take that!) -Hydro Pump -Fly (I don't care wha you say, I like fly!) -Recover @ Exp. share -Bite -Thrash -Sandstorm -Rock Slide @ Pink Bow -Whirlpool -Bodyslam -Surf -Waterfall (he's mostly an HM pokemon, but I still use him as a last resort in battle) @ Leftovers -Rock Smash -Strength -Magnitude -Selfdestruct @ Sacred Ash (I don't want to use it for some reason) -Sunny Day -Fire blast -Nothing -Nothing (not sure how I deleted the last 2 moves, I was messing around once, I accidentallyturned off the gameboy, and they were gone) |

actually lugia WILL NOT ALWAYS learn aeroblast... it only learns it in silver. i think two flying moves is really excessive so ye u should care what i have to say cuz having 2 moves that basically do the same thing is dumb. get rid of fly and replace with earthquake. if u really want a water move, use surf its the best. otherwise replace with curse. EDIT: for me, i really prefer @ mint berry earthquake aeroblast curse rest if ur a wierd pokemon fan who would scream at this moveset b/c it doesnt have psychic or a water move (b/c i mean, he HAS TO HAVE IT HE HAD IT IN THE MOVIE), i urge u to reconsider. psychic is a complete waste on lugia b/c of his low spec. attk stat anyway. curse can raise his low attack and then u go all out with EQ or aeroblast. ground and flying can take out anything that a psychic can take out: PLUS MUCH MORE. rest and mint berry can really frustrate ur opponent and u usually only need to do it once to trump the game. rest is also better than recover cuz u can heal 100% of ur hp and release urself from annoying status effects. |

I'm bored so, bobashotmace wrote: {typhlosion} @ Charcoal
-Swift -Flame Wheel -Cut (I know, bad choice, I don't know why I taught him it, I might give it a relpacement, but what?) -Flamethrower Hold items like Charcoal are very bad, they only boost attacks by 10%, which is pretty much worthless, so try items like Brightpowder, Miracle Berry, etc. Swift's Power is low, Cut is horrible and Flame Wheel does low amount of damage and you already have Flamethrower Try the standard, @ Brightpowder/Leftovers/Mint Berry Flamethrower Thunderpunch Earthquake Sunny Day/Rest @ Mystic Water -Aeroblast (sorry) -Hydro Pump -Fly (I don't care wha you say, I like fly!) -Recover Hydro Pump has horrible PP and Fly gives your opponent a chance to switch to a pokemon that has a resistance to Flying (or even ) Replace Fly and Hydro Pump with Psychic and Earthquake, Surf, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam or Curse. Attach Leftovers or Miracle Berry @ Exp. share -Bite -Thrash -Sandstorm -Rock Slide Evolve it as soon as possible and Bite isn't that good, since it can learn Crunch, Thrash confuses and Sandstorm hurts your other pokemon. Try, @ Mint Berry/Leftovers Crunch (STAB, even though it's attack is better, it still works) Earthquake Rock Slide/Ancientpower (if you want to breed for it) Rest @ Pink Bow -Whirlpool -Bodyslam -Surf -Waterfall (he's mostly an HM pokemon, but I still use him as a last resort in battle) Well you could use some other poke for HM slaving, @ Leftovers/Miracle Berry Surf Ice Beam Submisson/Mind Reader Psychic/Earthquake/Rest/Fissure Only use Mind Reader with Fissure. @ Leftovers -Rock Smash -Strength -Magnitude -Selfdestruct Evolve and replace Rock Smash, Strength, Magnitude and Selfdestruct with Earthquake, Rock Slide, Explosion and some other move like Toxic, Rest, Attract, etc. @ Sacred Ash (I don't want to use it for some reason) -Sunny Day -Fire blast -Nothing -Nothing (not sure how I deleted the last 2 moves, I was messing around once, I accidentallyturned off the gameboy, and they were gone) Try replacing Fire Blast with Sacred Fire or Flamethrower, Sunny Day with Thunderbolt (Optional you can keep Sunny Day if you want) and the last 2 spots can have Earthquake and Recover. Attach Leftovers or Miracleberry Hope this helped, As for the Lugia discussion, you can re-teach Aeroblast through Pokemon Stadium 2, That's how my Gold one knows Aeroblast. ~RL |

@ Berzerk Gene I don't really like berserk gene. Lefties. -Flamethrower -Earthquake -Ancientpower (sharked) -Thunderpunch @ Awakening Pokemon don't know how to use man made items. -Aeroblast (sorry) -Surf -Ancientpower -Rest I like the physical one, with lefties, curse, aeroblast, EQ, and steel wing/aincent power. @ leftovers -Crunch -Hyperbeam I would advise Return to take advantage of it's high attack. -Earthquake -Rock Slide @ Pink Bow10% extra of one attack? I don't think so. Try Lefties. -Earthquake -Bodyslam -Surf -Submission @ Leftovers -Earthquake -Explosion -Toxic -Rollout @ Sacred Ash (I don't want to use it for some reason) Lefties -Sunny DayYou could use T-Bolt. -Sacred FireI would use F-Thrower. Your choice. -Recover -Earthquake @ leftovers If you want to bounce back ASAP, try a mint. -Hyper Beam Body Slam or Return. -Rest -Snore Try Shadow Ball. Works for the pesky ghosts. -Belly Drum @ Guard Spec. -Fury Cutter -Toxic -Agility -Extremespeed You could keep the scyther and give it swords dance, steel wing, wing attack, and reversal/slash. Or you could evolve it and make a b-passer. Iron defense, agility, swords dance, and baton pass. @ (I'm havent picked yet, mayby leftovers) -Thunderbolt -Agility -Thunder -Quick Attack I prefer the annoyer with sweet kiss, t-wave, attract, and t-bolt. Or you could do the rain dancer, with surf, rain dance, t-wave and thunder. Or you could do t-bolt, reversal, body slam, and endure. It's your choice. |

Male @???? I'm not sure either, gender doesn't matter. Charm I'd try crunch, your man needs a bit more force in my opinion Sand Attack Baton Pass Frustration Careful with this, you need to keep it hating you, or it won't be as good. Pretty good set but remember, keep it hating you or ditch frustration, you could put charm there, and crunch in front, but try to get a regular attack, maybe bite somewhere in there Male @Miracle Seed Giga Drain Synthesis Earthquake Reflect Pretty good set, but I'd try sunny day and solarbeam over giga drain and reflect. female @Leftovers Mean Look Toxic Attract Fly Not a good move, I'd try aircutter instead Other than fly, pretty good, remember, the only HM you should teach you pokemon is surf, it's the strongest water attack. @Leftovers Heal Bell Attract I'd try body slam or rollout over attract Reversal Thunderbolt Not any major problems with this Male @???? Surf Psychic Ice beam Maybe disable over ice beam Substitute Try disable, either over ice beam or substitute Male @Mint Berry Cross Chop Flamethrower Maybe fire blast over this Rest Sunny Day Only one sort of problem on this |
