I'm only going to rate the teams posted from October onwards, because some of the members who have posted teams before that are no longer around. If you have posted your team before October, and want it to be rated, please post to notify the raters. Skytune wrote: I made a Silver team and was just wondering how it looked.
@??? FlamePunch (till it learns Flamethrower) QuickAttack (need to swap for something) Smokescreen Leer Flamethrower over FlamePunch, like you said. Teach it Thunderpunch over Quick Attack. Sunny Day over Leer, to reduce its weakness to Water, and to boost Flamethrower. Smokescreen can stay. @Lefties FaintAttack Return Toxic SandAttack Mean Look over Sand Attack. Its Attack isn't good enough to exploit Return, so remove it for Baton Pass. Faint Attack can stay, but you can try Double-Team instead. D-Team is useful on Umbreon for in-game purposes, furthermore, you can even pass the increased evasion @QuickClaw Thunderpunch Thunderwave CottonSpore LightScreen Thunderbolt over Thunderpunch if possible. Fire Punch over Cotton Spore. Light Screen is fine, but Reflect might be more useful. @??? Surf ArouraBeam Bite SandAttack (until it learns AcidArmor) Yeah, Acid Armor would be advisable. Ice Beam over Aurora Beam. Bite is fine, but you can also try Rest, which should be quite useful after some Acid Armors. @??? MachPunch MegaPunch ThunderPunch IcePunch Bad Special Attack. *shakes head at Special moves* Try Body Slam/Return over Mega Punch, HP Rock/Bug (if not, any other physical Hidden Power) over Thunderpunch, Agility over Ice Punch. @AmuletCoin AeroBlast Psychic Recover Fly (want to replace, with what?) Replace Fly with a Special Move, such as Thunderbolt, Dragonbreath, Surf or Ice Beam. |

Here's my lineup for gold version: dragonite:leftovers (L60) -return -ice beam -thunderbolt -fire blast alakazam:leftovers (L60) -ice punch -recover -thunderpunch -psychic houndoom:blackglasses (L60) -crunch -sunny day -solarbeam -flamethrower snorlax:leftovers (L60) -return -rest -sleep talk -earthquake machamp:soft sand (L60) -rock slide -return -earthquake -cross chop lapras:mystic water (L60) -return -confuse ray -surf -ice beam ~Subs~ nidoking:leftovers -return -ice beam -shadow ball -earthquake (Good stats; good move diversity, however not as good as dragonite) arcanine:charcoal -return -crunch -extremespeed/curse -flamethrower (Very generous stats; bad move diversity) kingdra:mystic water -return -rain dance -surf -ice beam (Return works very well on her.) dodrio:pink bow -drill peck -return -steel wing -tri attack (Physical sweeper; weak defense) I'm currently working on Tyranitar and Aerodactyl. What movesets would work better and which subs you think are legit enough to become starters? |

I just suggest since I'm not a full rater. 1. I think you need to change Snorlax to But it's your choice anyway. 2. I'm rating your Snorlax only. Let it hold Chesto.Your rest needs it.Try to get Chesto if you can.But Lefties is alright.Sleeptalk is not that great.Instead replace it with Shadow Ball to kill ghosts type. You could replace Return with Psychic to fight off Fighting types. |

Like I said before, I'm only going to rate the teams that are posted from October onwards. Read my previous post for more details. lapras7surfer wrote: Somebody rate mine?I just beat the elite4 so please don't judge too harshly.
Feligator L41 Surf Cut Ice Punch Slash You might want to try Crunch or Rest over Cut, since Cut is a rather weak attack. Amparados L42 Thunder Punch Thunder Wave Light Screen Strength Fire Punch over Strength. The rest of the moves are fine, but you can try Reflect over Light Screen if you want. After all, Ampharos's main weakness is Ground, and that's a physical attack that Reflect can protect against. Ho-oh L42 Sacred Fire Shadow Ball Recover Earthquake Sunny Day over Shadow Ball and Solarbeam over Earthquake is possible. It's a rather effective combination that boosts Sacred Fire's damage, whereas Solarbeam can protect you from Water types. Golem L41 Earthquake Self-Destruct Headbutt Rollout Explosion over Self-Destruct since it's essentially the same attack save for its higher power. Rock Slide over Rollout for more power as well. Headbutt is fine, but Golem is rather slow, and can't really make use of the Flinch effect, so replace it with Body Slam or Return. Pidgeot L42 Wing attack Fly Mud-slap Quick Attack Remove Fly since you already have Wing Attack. Try Agility instead. Return over Quick Attack for more power. Mud-Slap is fine in-game, but if you want more offense, try Steel Wing. I'm getting Lugia for my last poke. There are a few possible movesets that all work fine. Check out the GSC Standard Movesets Guide for them. Here's the link: http://www.psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7118 |

I'll continue rating from where I left off. DragonPhoenix wrote: Im tring to make an All normal team! (i can trade b/w RBY)
EQ Heal Bell Return milk drink Looks good. seismic toss psychic counter thunderwave/softboiled Since you are using Miltank as the Healer already, maybe Blissey can be used as a Special Sweeper? Perhaps a special move like Thunderbolt, Flamethrower or Ice Beam (all obtained via Move Tutor) can be taught over Seismic Toss? Softboiled stays, and Thunder Wave can replace Counter. light screen reflect ice beam shadow ball You can either try the combo of Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Flamethrower and Moonlight or just go ahead with straightforward Special Sweeping with Psychic, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt, and a filler for the fourth move, such as keeping Reflect or Light Screen, or you can teach it Rest or Attract. curse rest sleep talk return? Return is fine, but you can also try Body Slam for the paralysis. Earthquake over Sleep Talk, just for some added offense. endure reversal roar foresigh Shadow Ball over Foresight, Body Slam or Return over Roar. Sweep with these two moves until HP gets low, use Endure, and start using Reversal. I'm not sure how effective Endure/Reversal is in GSC though, since there isn't any Salac Berry, or anything similar (or is there? ) [I dont know what to put for the last one. Maybe porygon2 or wigg] Sure. Another possible Pokemon is Togetic. For their movesets, check out the GSC Standard Movesets Guide: http://www.psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7118 One more thing ~ i really dont care about DVs or EVs or stuff like that. Mixed would be even nicer for me then There aren't EVs in GSC, there's something else called stat experience. Not important anyway, since you don't care about them (neither do I, actually =P) leet for wrote: Crystal team, plz rate
0==============================0 | My Team | 0==============================0 | Arcanine @ Miracle Berry | | - Fire Blast (TM#38) | | - Curse (TM#03) | | - Extremespeed (Lv50) | | - Safeguard (Breed) | Curse isn't good. Arcanine has good Speed, and Curse hampers that. There's only one move (i.e. Extremespeed) that can make use of its Attack boost Anyway. Replace it with Crunch or Roar. | | | Blastoise @ Leftovers | | - Haze (Breed) | | - Earthquake (TM#26 R/B/Y) | | - Surf (HM#03) | | - Rest (TM#44 R/B/Y) | Looks fine. You might want to try Ice Beam over Rest if you want more offense. | | | Gengar @ Miracle Seed | | - Hypnosis (Base) | | - Dream Eater Lv33-39 | | - Giga Drain (TM#19) | | - Confuse Ray Lv31 | Do you have any Leftovers? Miracle Seed isn't really useful; its damage boost is very minimal. If not, just attach any useful Berry to it. | | | Espeon @ Black Glasses | | - Reflect (TM#33 Eevee R/B/Y)| | - Psychic Lv47 Espeon | | - Morning Sun Lv52 Espeon | | - Bite Lv30-37 Eevee | Fine. You can also try Sunny Day over Reflect and HP Fire over Bite. Morning Sun will be helped by Sunny Day as well. As for the item, same problem as Gengar's Miracle Seed. | | | Raikou @ Mystic Water | | - Thunderbolt (Crystal) | | - Reflect Lv51 | | - Rest (TM#44) | | - Crunch Lv61 | Try HP Water or HP Grass over Reflect or Rest. | | | Tyranitar @ Leftovers | | - Ancient Power (Breed) | | - Crunch Lv47 | | - Ice Beam (Crystal) | | - Earthquake Lv61 | All out sweeping? Okay, since there isn't the problem of split EVs in GSC, go ahead 0==============================0 R/B/Y =havee to do in R/B/Y (i only have red) Breed =have to breed the move Crystal =Crystal move tutor i've included the ways to get the moves if you change any moves or items plz put how 2 get them btw change the Miracle Berry(s) The Miracle Berry is fine, and if you are unsure how you can get a certain move, please check the Psydex entry for that particular Pokemon. |

Aside from the old/outdated teams that were posted (but they will not be rated, for reasons stated earlier), all recent teams have been cleared. You may begin posting again, since the backlogged teams have been cleared. fisticuffs7 wrote: Here's my lineup for gold version:
dragonite:leftovers (L60) -return -ice beam -thunderbolt -fire blast Seems fine. You can try Agility over Return to help you sweep better. alakazam:leftovers (L60) -ice punch -recover -thunderpunch -psychic Standard. houndoom:blackglasses (L60) -crunch -sunny day -solarbeam -flamethrower Standard as well. Blackglasses doesn't have much use though. If you are able to find another Leftovers, please attach it instead. snorlax:leftovers (L60) -return -rest -sleep talk -earthquake It's your choice, but I prefer Shadow Ball to Earthquake on Snorlax; it's better for KO-ing Ghost types. machamp:soft sand (L60) -rock slide -return -earthquake -cross chop All offense? Fine, though you can try Curse over, say, Rock Slide. Anyway, Soft Sand poses the same "problem" as Blackglasses. Change it to Leftovers if you're able to obtain another. lapras:mystic water (L60) -return -confuse ray -surf -ice beam If I'm not mistaken, Lapras has better Special Attack than Attack. Return should therefore be replaced with another move such as Psychic, Thunderbolt or Dragonbreath. ~Subs~ nidoking:leftovers -return -ice beam -shadow ball -earthquake (Good stats; good move diversity, however not as good as dragonite) arcanine:charcoal -return -crunch -extremespeed/curse -flamethrower (Very generous stats; bad move diversity) kingdra:mystic water -return -rain dance -surf -ice beam (Return works very well on her.) dodrio:pink bow -drill peck -return -steel wing -tri attack (Physical sweeper; weak defense) I'm currently working on Tyranitar and Aerodactyl. What movesets would work better and which subs you think are legit enough to become starters? I'll just post some general comments regarding your subs. Basically, their movesets are fine, but I don't see any of them being capable of substantially out-performing the Pokemon that are already in your main team. As such, I don't see the need to change your main team... with the exception of Arcanine. Arcanine can serve a different function compared to your main team's repertoire of Sweeping moves. You can give Arcanine Extremespeed and Flamethrower as filler moves, and Toxic and Roar for the remaining moves. Use the latter two moves to inflict Poison on your foe's Pokemon one by one. This is purely optional though. Please continue using your main team if you're feeling quite comfortable with it. There's no real reason for changing it, like I've said. |

Yes, I was wondering if my team would be good enough to fight the Elite Four, I didn't post the Movesets because I am unsure what they will be. Should I switch anyone out? Like Typhlosion for Ho-Oh, or Gengar for Sneasel, those were the only two I was wondering about though. Ok here is my Gold Team, you don't have to suggest Movesets but if you do, it would be a great help! If you do suggest a Moveset please be aware that I can only use each TM once except for the few that you can buy and I am playing Gold Version, I'm trading a Sneasel fom my sister. Electric...............Ampharos Psychic...............Espeon Fire....................Ho-Oh /Typhlosion Fighting..............Machamp Ice.....................Dewgong Ghost/Dark.........Gengar / Sneasel / Umbreon |
