ROCKS. It is my favorite starter, and learns some pretty decent attacks. Also, it is really really cute ^^ most of the starters get ugly as they evolve, but Meganium just gets cuter. After completing the Emerald Version Hoenn dex (which was a pain) I picked Chikorita.

Despite my hatred of grass pokemon, Meganium is decent in my opinion.
Less weaknesses would do it good, for sure.

Meganium is great, Sunny Day, Solar beam, Synthesis, Sleep powder,
and teamed up with Typhy, Flamethrower, Equake, Thunderpunch and a rock attack
Flamethrower covers Meganiums ice weakness
Thunderpunch/Solar beam covers any water pokemon that have ice moves.
Equake covers any fire types, apart from Ho-oh, Moltres and Charizard.
The rock attack covers Meganiums weakness to bug and flying.

Meggy (my nickname for Meganium ^_^) is okay as I see it, and also when I beat the Hoenn dex I chose Chikorita.
Apart from Meganium, Sceptile is nice, but this is Johto. I always choose Cyndaquil as my starter, since Typhy looks so cool, and I like moles.
Anyway, Chikorita, Bayleef, and Meganium are pretty good Pokemon, apart from being Grass-typed.

Most grass-types have lots of weaknesses. And Meganium is just an uncommon pure grass type.
Meganium is cute. He has some cool looks, especially that giant flower from where his neck comes from. He's one of the few Pok

If you want to revive a topic that has not been posted in for a month or more, please justify it by contributing to the discussion. In this case, you should be explaining why Meganium isn't as good as the other Grass starters.
Anyway, I don't think there is much to discuss about Meganium.
