where is a good place to train for the E4?

When I trained for the elite four, I spent my time on route 47 and 48, right outside of the safari zone. As far as I can tell, route 47 has the highest level pokemon you can find before beating the elite four.

Can you get the pokeradar in HGSS? I know already you can get the dowsing machine in Ecrouteak city....

No, since there's no need for it.

Seeing as Nintendo gave out a PokeWalker course freely that generates them unlimitedly but rarely...I say why wouldn't they be...Fly & Surf doesn't really make Pikachu or any of it's family much stronger then they would be normally, even if you consider the fact that Surf is good for Ground Type pokemon...meh...anyone want to confirm this?...

Look here. Smogon RNG Method Explanation basicly (really really basicly) its a method of hatching shiny pokemon pretty much 100% of the time that requires your Secet Trainer ID.

same as in DPPt...just that HG/SS has a Delay during the opening that you need to be aware of & with RNG Reporter you can actually do this by clicking the "HG/SS Delay" check box when checking for your initial seed...I haven't used it yet for obvious reasons...no shiny caught in SS yet...

With the Pokewalker, are the Pokemon available after X number of steps that day or total? Same question concerning items.

Of course it doesn't cause it's always generated shiny...just like with shiny patch pokemon encountered during a chain with the PokeRadar in DPPt...sad but true...



Items & pokemon are generated based off the steps you have taken since you have started the current stroll...

While on this subject I would like to know if when the day changes in the PokeWalker does all the encounter rates return to what they were at 0 steps or does it stay as is until you transfer stuff back to the game cartidge?...
