I really want Ho-oh in my SoulSilver game, I know where I need to find it, I don't have my Master Ball (Used it for Lugia. Battle lasted 3 seconds.{lugia}), and I have tried to catch it like 5 times. Can you help?

hmm yeah, NO but I can say this, keep trying, Ho-oh like any Legendary can be a chore to catch(who am I kidding, is a chore) & you need to inflict Paralysis or Sleep on it, use pokeballs that work better on it like Dusk Ball at night, Ultra Balls & maybe Time Balls if you can get the battle to last really long without it going into a Struggle rampage which is always bad since you also need to lower it's HPs as far as possible which is better done with the move False Swipe...meh...

You can get a Water Stone from any of the following:
A prize for bug catching contest {spinarak}
A Pokelethon prize (talk to the lady behind the desk at the faaar right) (she might not have it, the prizes cange everyday) {cyndaquil}

In addition to these locations, you are also able to find a Water Stone in the Seafoam Islands. You can receive it from Bill's grandfather on Route 25 (under specific conditions, just search them up), and you can receive it from Fisherman Tully on Route 42 after you defeat him in a rematch. In the Beyond the Sea Pokewalker Route, you can find Water Stones as well.

Yeah you can do that, too.
Edit: I have a question. What does False Swipe do? Is it somewhat like Endure?

When a Pokemon uses False Swipe on an opponent, if the opponent would have been KO'd, it will instead be left with 1 HP. Very useful for catching wild Pokemon and leaving them at 1 HP.

more EV questions:

1. Does using Carbos, Iron, etc. on a pokemon change EVs at all?

And:

2.

{pikachu} receives 1 SPE EV
{metagross} receives 1 SPE EV

What if it was say... Gyrados. Would they both get 1 Atk EV, splitting the 2 it gives.
Or would Gyrados give them both 2 EVs in Atk?

1.) Carbos gives I believe 10 Speed(SPE) EVs to whatever pokemon it is used on but cannot be used if the pokemon's EVs are already at at least 100 so that means you get to use 10 of these on a pokemon with no SPE EVs but a pokemon with say...50 EVs can only have 5 Carbos used on it before it won't take them anymore due to it's SPE EVs peaking 100(or 99, however you want to look at it)...

2.) Common question but anywho, when Gyarados faints, both {pikachu} & {metagross} each receive it's full Effort Value of 2 Attack(ATK) EVs a piece...

just looking for confirmation: the nature / IVs on lugia are set when you talk to him, right? I can save after the kimono girls do their little dance, but before i talk to lugia?

IVs & nature are not set unless under the circumstances in which you faint Lugia in this encounter & end up having to catch him post Elite 4, I do however think that you need to save after the girls do their summoning dance(if able to) or before they do it(in the case that you can't do the former)...

If you intend to reset for good IVs and nature, you could also faint the Pokemon and return to the Whirl Islands when you're ready. In HG/SS, when a legendary gets defeated, you can revive it by beating the Elite Four again. This also applies to the Red Gyarados and Roamers such as Entei and Raikou. The IVs and nature will also be generated again.

Okay, is there anywhere I can find the Full Incense?? I tried looking in the HGSS Items locations on the main site, but it doesn't have a location... do I need to trade from somewhere else to get it??

Mt. Mortar. You'll need Rock Climb.

There's a house on Route 12 (in Kanto) that has a Fishing Guru in it. He'll give you the Super Rod.

When you beat Blue in Kanto, Oak will give you Rock Climb. So, yes.

100-win streak in the Battle Tower, and getting a Shiny Leaf Crown on one of your Pokes. More info here.
