If I can't have legendaries, then I guess {meganium} or another good Grass type. Maybe {espeon}.

{garchomp} lv. 80
{mew} lv. 100
{ho-oh} lv. 71
{deoxys} lv. 62
Ugh! Now I think about it, I think my brother needs to train his Typhlosion like crap. (My Brother: I heard that!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I have always been one to go for balance, even in the original RBY games I always went for a balanced team. My current storyline team is;

{gyarados} Level 54
{gengar} Level 56
{tyranitar} Level 58
{charizard} Level 60
{jolteon} Level 54
{roserade} Level 53

I love my storyline team atm they really work out well with each other. I don't know why I don't like using legendary pokes. The weakest poke on this team is Jolteon, it has its moments. That and my Roserade has a powerful but mono type move set which is... annoying to say the least.

It's amazing how many people included non-Johto Pokémon on their team but it doesn't really bug me.

For me I'd say Meganium, Typhlosion, Mantine, Espeon, Umbreon, and Quagsire :)

Unown. 'nuff said. Don't you guys remember the third movie? Who wouldn't want a team that could rewrite reality on a whim? Cyrus went the the wrong place!

But no, in the game sense:

[Insert Starter Here] Meganium
Espeon (So Cute!)
Houndoom (heat source plus luvable guard dog)
Quagsire (they only swim in clean water, right? and Woopers are Cute!)
Ampharos (you gotta love that flowing hair he sprouts when you give it a rock and poke your watch!)
Steelix (because who wouldn't want a portable cave to sleep in?)

Survival and comfort and all that jazz...

{hitmonchan} : Comet. Moves Ice Punch, Close Combat, bullet punch, detect. Black belt ability: Iron fist

{scizor} : GOD. Moves: Bullet punch. Choice Band ability: Technition

{skarmory}: SuperScarm: Fly, roost, Steel wing, swift: ability Sturdy

{mamoswine}: EQ, Ancient Power, ice beam, toxic

{nidoking}: Thunderbolt, EQ, brick break, sludge wave.

murkrow
I would choose jumpluff because Hoppip is my favorite grass type from Johto. I would choose politoed because I love poliwirl and politoed is like... an upgrade. magby because magmar is awesome so magby is like a little magmar... I would choose scizor and murkrow because I love them and they are also steel and dark the two types introduced in that region. I would choose Porygon2 because I love porygon and porygon2 (not porygonz, he sucks, sorry peeps) porygon2 is also one of my favorite pokemon of all time.
Also why won't the sprites appear?

my johto dream team:

{feraligatr} {scyther} {alakazam} (or {kadabra} ) {arcanine} {machop} for whitneys miltank then i will swap it for a {espeon} and a shiny pokemon. If no shiny my next team member would be {dragonair} or {dragonite} depending on the level since you get {dratini} late game.
