Sorry if this isn't where I should post this or if this isn't something I should post here, but cut me a little bit of slack if so. I just caught a level 70 Ho-oh in my Pokémon Silver game and it has swift, recover, sunny day, and fire blast. I thought it was supposed to have Sacred Fire. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't? |

The lv:70 on silver doesn't come with sacred fire, but the lv:40 one on gold does. Use a gameshark to catch a lv:5 and all it will have is sacred fire. OR Trade something from your silver to a gold version to get the lv:40 . I kinda recommend if you want sacred fire that bad. |

Well that's pretty stupid considering that Sacred Fire is a Ho-oh unique move... |

If you want to really be ambitious, have sketch Sacred Fire from the gold version . OR You could go with the gameshark . |

There's a move-relearner in Pokemon Stadium 2 - you can reteach Lugia Aeroblast (from Gold and Crystal) or Ho-oh Sacred Fire (from Crystal and Silver) with it. I do agree with you about it being ridiculous that they don't have their trademark move when you catch them in the opposite versions. |

And in Crystal, they don't have either with their signature moves, which is even worse. I think that you should get the sig moves. Their power and effects are well worth it (note also, Sacred Fire is like Flame Wheel - you can use it when you're frozen and you'll defrost yourself). |

When you use sacred fire, does't it leave behind sacred ashes too... they completely heal every single PKMN in your party, for those who didnt know. |

No; that's just when you capture Ho-Oh in GSC. I also heard the Ho-Oh event in FRLG causes a Sacred Ash to be left behind (as an Itemfinder register) when Ho-Oh is captured. It can only be used once though, and never again. I never would use it because it's impractical. |

That does sound rather stupid... But I do believe Aeroblast is available with a TM, isn't it? I'm not sure about Sacred Fire being the same, but I think Aeroblast has a TM. Since when could Smeargle do that? I'd never heard... AEPMT |

Uh, no, Aeroblast is not available as a TM, and I have no idea where you got that from. Anyway, I don't believe there is much else to discuss here, so I'm going to lock it. ~locked~ |
