I heard something about a cheat where you go one block off to the east of cinnibar and swim up and down. A wierd pokemon appears and if u run away u get unlimited of ur sixth item...i tried it but i couldt find the pokemon...has anyone done this before? if so what do i have to do before attempting this? a friend showed me 100 lvl 100's and told me about it but he couldnt remember exactly. Can anybody help me?

That's called the Missingno cheat. Highly dangerous, yet highly useful if used correctly, but I wouldn't advise it (changed all my Pokemon in my hall of fame records to Mew, with a cry that sounded uncannily like Celebi's...odd.)

However, that was in Red and Blue (hence the peculiarity of Mew's cry)whereas this topic is for Fire Red and Leaf green and the cheat has been edited out. Check the Kanto section, and it should help you.
