I Prefer  because... well... it talks! In a movie where the 3 birds collide talks there! ^_^
Nah! Just kiddin'. That's not the real reason why i like ...
The reason is because it rocks w/ aeroblast and hydro pump... i had both and tested them on each of their weaknesses, but has more survivability r8 than  ... But i've got to admit that sacred fire is a good move...
But Seriously, talks in the movie i mentioned... ^_^

| can learn water moves/has great moves and plus it looks better... and as the previous poster said, it talks.

Ho-oh is cool, but I like Lugia better, so I might be biased. It's a great wall, and it looks so much cooler. Lugia using Aeroblast in Movie 2000 looked so cool. I feel bad for Raikou and Ho-oh. They never had a movie, where they were in it as part of a central role. In the Lucario movie, it wasn't even a real Ho-oh, but a Mew in disguise.

Well of course Lugia Lets wiegh the pros and cons of the two! LUGIA Pros 1. Large variety of moves pools that are super effective against FIRE or FLYING TYPE including Hydro Pump, Thunder and moves that are just powerful- like Psychic 2. Well the type it self- Lugia is Water- which pwns Fire! 3. This is a personal opinion that I feel is shared by many Lugia Fans- Apperence. Lugia does not oly look cool but has an awesome cry! 4. Movie for Lugia (the Orange Island one) but not for Ho-Oh 5. Can even turn into an HM slave (Surf, Fly, Waterfall, Whirlpool!) Cons 1. Times 4 weak against ELECTRIC moves 2. No cool item like Ho-Oh 3. No great back ground story like Ho-Ohs! (my opinion!) Ho-oh Pros 1. Comes with a great item (Sacred Ash) 2. Has a great back ground story (The dogs, Tin Tower, Rebirth, Rainbow, etc.) 3. Represents the thing we all love to see after a rain- Rainbows! Cons Bassically the opposite of Lugias Pros! I hope I convinced some Ho-oh Fans to convert to Lugia Lovers! ~Snorelax |

Ho-oh's better because its Sacred Fire attack is really powerful and causes burn 1/2 of the time. With a base stat of 130 in attack, that move can KO just about anything that's weak to fire. Lugia has only 90 in both attack and sp. attack, and it has 2 more weaknesses than ho-oh. |

lugia without a doubt, It's my favorite pokemon in the entire history of the game, as for ho-oh it's a rainbow coloured flying chicken, I do not want that in my party. but I'm not happy with the new lugia sprite, it doesn't look half as cool as it should.
