Hi. I got the item Lucky Egg a day or two ago from one of the NPCs in Y. I have had lucky eggs before in other games & they always just....worked. Without having to do anything special. Well, I tried moving the party member holding it to front of the party, tried turning off the Exp share (just in case.... I dunno) and I tried everything else I could think of - no matter what I do, I still only get regular amounts of exp even with the egg! What???? I am about to beat the 5th gym, if that makes any diffy. Please help? Love, Totally Perplexed in Baltimore :p |

Just wanted to add - is it possible that this is a different golden egg than the ones in past games? I don't understand. I also posted this question in a FB group that I belong to & it got exactly 0 answers. |

Is it possible that the exp bonus awarded from pokemon-amie does not stack with the lucky egg? This is, by no means an answer; just a thought. |
