So here are a few Dex quotes about everybody's favourite candlelit dinner-Pokemon...

"CORPHISH were originally foreign POKéMON that were imported as pets. They eventually turned up in the wild."

"It came from overseas."

Its hardy vitality enables it to adapt to any environment."

"It was originally a Pokémon from afar that escaped to the wild."

So given that Kalos has a giant Eiffel Tower in the background and they eat Lobster where the Eiffel Tower comes from, maybe we can expect to see the entire Corphish Line in its natural habitat? Maybe even with a final-evo available to us by way of a moss-rock or something similar that could only happen in its home region? Maybe a pre-evo as a sort of sea-slug using a breeding hold item in the same way we used Incenses in previous Gens?

I don't know if it'll have any new additions to its evolution line, but its pretty likely we'll be able to catch them in Kalos. Maybe somewhere down near the southwestern shore or in all of those rivers.

Good observation :) Ya know, Gen 5 and 6 are really quite a lot better when you think about them a -completely- different continent than the first four gens.

For those allergic to Chespin, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a chocolate (pokemon) alternative.

Or perhaps, dare I say it... a Vanilluxe alternative?

You're dead to me. DONT KILL CHESPINS

I suppose this would be a good idea. I wouldn't mind seeing Corphish and Crawdaunt. But instead of a pre evo or evo, maybe an alternate.
Corphish -> Crawdaunt
Corphish -> Crustacevil?
