Did anyone else hear about the new Pokémon that is/are going to be revealed on Pokémon Smash tonight(or today)?
What are you hoping for? Evos of the starters, evos of old Pokémon, generic route 1 Pokémon, or even that new Mewtwo form?

No, I hadn't heard about the news, but thanks for the heads up Drago! I'll be sure to be on the lookout for information tonight.

I'm hoping that they reveal some of the first form basic Pokemon that are able to be caught around the first couple of routes. It'll be nice to see some more Pokemon from X and Y, although I wouldn't mind if they showed off the starters' final evolutions.

Okay, after my initial apall to it subsided, I'm rather partial to it now. As long as it's a new Pokemon like Mewthree or something, I'll be good. But of it's a new form of Mewtwo... Well let's just hope we don't have any new forms.

I have to say I like Mewtwo better, just something about this new pokemon doesn't do it for me; don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like it, I just prefer Mewtwo.

I think I have to agree with twist: a new pokemon would be preferable to a new form.

i like it. however, if this is a new mewtwo form i will be very upset. i hope it is a new clone of mew (Mewthree!) made by team rocket for their comeback to try and take over the world.

Details? I have to agree with you on Zekrom and Reshiram (way over done). But, I think that pokemon still look the same. I mean, sure, pokemon are getting a bit technological with the forms. But think about it this way, in the trailers many of the old pokemon are coming back. If you don't like the new pokemon, just stay away and get a Cranidos or a Pikachu.

If you're a true Pokemon fan, you'll roll with it. Let's just see exactly what purpose this Mewtwo forme serves in any sort of plot in a movie or video game or whatever and let's try to take all the positives we can. Plus it's not like we're going to be deal with the Mewtwo forme anytime soon because we still have a solid 6 months before X and Y. Also, even if there is a new Mewtwo form you can always stick with original Mewtwo, which I expect people to do unless the new form has a significant advantage over the original form (stats, ability, etc.)

To be honest, as long as this isn't a keldeo type new form I like it.

Hopefully it's a proper new form like all the other forms:
-different stats: Maybe a more physically oriented form, or even a defensive form? I have a feeling that it has better speed (as if it needs it)
-different ability: It looks like it's floating, so maybe it has levitate.
