I was heading over to catch groundon in HH and while I was surfing there I found a shiny tentacrule
I completely forgot about groundon and ran back to a poke center and re-organized my team just so I could find a place for him in my party

You got a Shiny Rhyperior now? That's impossible because Rhydon evolves by trading.

You got a Shiny Rhyperior now? That's impossible because Rhydon evolves by trading.

How would that be impossible? It's not like Pokemon lose their shininess by evolving or trading.

No, i mean, if he trades his Rhydon, the person that traded with him would have that Pokémon, not him.

1st things first, he could have traded it to himself? Or have a friend trade it back to him?

2nd, found eight shinies in a row! All on Platinum this after noon. Shiny Piplup. Shiny Chimchar. Naturally I choose Turtwig. I then find a Shiny Starly x2. Then one shiny Bidoof. One shiny Shinx. Then a Zubat. Then a Wurmple. Finally, after a few years of playing pokemon, I find eight shinies in twelve minutes. Two weren't obtainable. The Bidoof and Piplup, rest in peace.
