I've decided that even if this is only me spamming posts to myself I will not let my favorite region fade into obscurity. You may join my conversation if you please.

Did ya'll put ice punch on your todile/cracanaw/feraligatr?
I did every single game.

I agree that this particular series was my favorite as well. However, I never used Ice Punch on a Croconaw and/or Feraligator. I alwasy equipped Typhlosion with Thunderpunch to handle those pesky water elements.

I agree. This game was very fun and I never met a superior opponent. Only thing I ever "cheated" to get was a celebi and lucky egg through gameshark. Tried Duplicate a few times but deleted them due to it just wasnt right. I wish to discuss who you guys think was the perfect pokemon of this era. Obviously I think it was Tyranitar with Wobbuffet a second close. Also did anyone else level their Wobbuffet to 100 Legit no rare candy spam. Let me know.

I went back to playing this back in December, but my save thingy didn't work. I'd kept my silver file for over ten years. I had like, 240 pokemon, but I never got the metal coat. Ampharos and Quagsire are unquestionably the best pokemon ever. Everrrrrrr.

Not to be off-topic from GSC, but why are you saying they're going to die in obscurity? HGSS just revived the Johto Region to all the little kids that had DPP as they're first Pokemon game, and was nice walk down memory lane for all of us who played GSC.

Pokémon Gold was the first game I've played, so I'm very attached to this generation. And the remakes of Gold&Silver are very excelent. They have things that I always wanted in the original games.
I love my team of this generation, and I always try to catch them in every game. And I think the best Pokémons are from this generation.

Yeah, Gen II was really awesome. I understand about your attatchment with Gold for your first game. My first game was Ruby, and I have that same thing with Gen III.
