You can re-breed for IVs, so if you get good ones, it's best to keep them. You can always pass them down and then do some nature-breeding at the same time, so you get the best of both.

Of course, with legendaries and events, you have to do both at once.

Ok, so I used my BW2 game in my Ds lite last night (I normally play it on my 3DSXL) to trade over a Pokemon for Breeding purposes(to my BW game). Now When I go to try Game sync today, it says I have to wait a day. Also when I try to Buy things from Join Avenue, Everyone is sold out. (Even though I had not bought everyone out yesterday). The Game sync I can understand, but the Shops being sold out? Anyone have an explanation?

I had a strange thing happen twice this week. I received 2 mid-level Pokemon (62 & 45) from the GTS, a Miltank and a Dugtrio ... different days, different OTs. When I later entered their stats to check their IVs, BOTH looked like this:

HP 0
Atk 0
Def 0
SpAtk 0
SpDef 0
Spe 0

I was baffled. Is this an indication that they are hacks?

when i evolved a clefairy(female) and a glameow(male) with their hidden abilities, their abilities changed but when i evolved a shellos (female) and a minccino (male) they kept them. WHY!!!!

Clefairy and Glameow have different hidden abilities from their evolved forms.
Shellos and Minccino have the same hidden abilities as their evolved forms.

This will be my first playthrough on Pokemon Black. I was wondering what a good starter team would be. No trades or anything like that, I want a team I can get just from playing the game.
