Alright so I tried it but it doesn't work it exits me out and my second DS completely stops. I did everything the pictures showed because I can't read Japanese but I somehow beat the main story. I'm trying to connect my US version of HG to my pokemon black so my guess is it doesn't allow connecting to non Japanese copies of the game. I would just like someone to confirm this for me. One of my DS is DSi which I think might block non American games if that might be the case. (I didn't know where else I would post this since I'm new)

Since the game has some features that only work with the DSi they only work with Japanese DSis. I have to use my little sister's DS which SUCKS!!!

Japanese Black and White are only compatible with Japanese DSi systems (and older generation systems from any country). By extension, it would stand to reason that using the PokeShifter from a non-Japanese game in a non-Japanese DSi would be unlikely to successfully transfer to a Japanese game in a Japanese DSi or DS/Lite.
