You mean like giving bug types some love this generation? I'm surprised they made a bug/electric type in general, but I still think that this game is going to be too legend and uber heavy (I mean, two pairs of legendary trios? COME ON!!!)
Yeah but It's not as bad as Sinnoh. And who knows maybe they will actually be useful.

If you don't have to go to an event to get them or they aren't 550+ in total stats then yes, I'd agree with you.

If you want to find me outside of Psypoke, you can find me on the pokemon lab server, look for steamroll. They will also be updating to the Gen V metagame soon so that will be worth checking out, too.

I had the number at three, but sinnoh had:
Arceus
Shaymin

Darkrai, Manaphy (and by extension, Phione) could be obtained in Pokemon Ranger Games. but that's kind of an event, so i'd put it at five. all the others could be obtained in-game, legitly.

I honestly like the Dragon type. It's one of my favorites. But the Dragons are seriously overpowered now unlike back in Gen. I and II. I'd like to see some more Dragons in Gen. V, but maybe a little weaker and with types not paired with Dragon before. Maybe a Poison/Dragon or a Grass/Dragon, something with easy-to-find weaknesses. And there shouldn't be a Dragon type pseudo-legendary this time around. Give the Normal type a chance to kick Dragon's ***.
Normally, an event legendary plays an important role in the Pokemon world. Mew is the ancestor of all Pokemon. Jirachi grants wishes. And Arceus created the entire universe. With a Bug/Steel type with a laser on its head, there aren't too many ways this one can go. So we have to assume all possibilities. Pokemon Star Trek anyone?

[rant]That's one of the things that bugged me the most about Sinnoh.... I can understand Mew being the ancestor of all pokemon but come one pokemon creating the entire universe. Stop trying to take the spotlight away from Hoenn with creating the earth........ but the entire Freaking UNIVERSE.[/rant] But aside from that I love that bug and fighting are finally getting the spotlight....

On the topic of arceus, We need the pokemon that will destroy the universe. Its just common sense that we have one, since we have the pokemon that created the universe.

dragons are SUPPOSED to be bigger badder and stronger than everyone else, there is no creature in existance or mythology more powerful!it's not supposed to be balanced it's supposed to be logical (well as logical as pokemon can get, electric mice aren't logical) any who yeah they could make a GOOD normal type for once but thats the thing it is NORMAL not a DRAGON, what your suggesting sounds more like, make that random rabbit beat my beautiful dragonite for no adaquately explored reason! I just play with the winning team and if that means incluce a dragon or two, **** yeah I'll do it, and I'll EV train it and give it a quick claw to piss off whoever I'm fighting even more! haha

There are good normal types, and the one I'm using right now (lickitung in HG) is pretty much tanking right now and I can't wait until it evolves. I almost never use a dragon type, the only time I use one(primarily Dragonite) is for a resistance battler with a variety of moves when I'm facing a trainer that the dragon type could have an advantage against. And just because you use the "best" of something doesn't mean anything, General Motors uses the transmissions of M1 Tanks on the majority of their trucks (which are some of the worst in the automotive truck industry, btw).

yeah obviously you can't use the "best" of something to be the "best" but I alternately use dragonite and garchomp, and I know they can be beaten I just think making all the normal pokemon have an advantage over dragons with no logical basis is frankly stupid!

P.S. I love my likyliky a lot one of my favorite pokemon

Yeah, they're making some really good Bug and Poison-types now. And back to the Dragon topic, most revealed Dragon are my favorite in this Generation, and i'm wondering what kind of ability and attacks the Hydra Dragon has.

The dragons this time around look awsome. Im wondering about the hydra since it's the psuedo this time around. Hopefully they dont give it levitate. Hopefuly a new ability. Ono..whatever also is looking cool, hopefully you can catch kibago fairly early.

BladeChin has Rivalry and Mold Breaker as abilities, while BlackHydra has only Levitate.
I find it difficult to grasp that BlackHydra is pseudo while BladeChin is not...

While Crimgan, that hideous I-don't-have-a-family UglyBlue dragon, has both Rough Skin and Encourage.
I wonder what Encourage does, a few different Pokes have it.
P.S. Did I mention how bad UglyBlue looks? I don't like his color scheme AT all. His design's ok, but it's like they threw darts at a wall of color swatches.

Then the only other new Dragons this time around, the mascot trio, have some neat abilities.
Well, 2/3 of them have neat ones.
Supposedly Zekrom's ability "TeraVoltage" and Reshiram's is "Turbo Blaze". There are a couple rumors going around the interwebs about these.
One is that they're basically Mold Breaker with cool names. So Heatproof and Levitate the like don't matter. But that doesn't make any sense to me.
There's a rumor about TeraVoltage that says it's Static with the added effect of causing damage every turn like being Burned. If this is true, I wonder what Turbo Blaze would be...
And, of course, the Ice/Dragon has Pressure. Lame.

They gave the hydra Levitate???!!! I feel like it doesnt do it justice. As for the legendary dragons. The 2 abilities they "supposedly" have sound intersting. As for the third dragon, why pressure. The current pics we have of it doesn't really help me see it well enough, and giving it pressure just makes me not want to us it.

No, not probably, but ABSOLUTELY it will have Tri Attack, because so far, pokemon with three head or whatever gets always get a Tri Attack.

So it has three heads, that doesn't mean it'll get tri attack (even though your all probly right).

Seriously the Dragons in this Gen look AWESOME. They put all the other dragons of past gens to shame. Of course im only going on apperance right know. I cant really check out the psydex right know to see if they have the stats up, cause my computer seems to freeze there (probably due to the huge amount of traffic that psypokes is gettin). The only one I can look at right now is bikutini.

Anyway, the hydra's probably gonna have some sweet attacks, I cant wait for B/W to come out in Canada.

EDIT- Ok i can look at the psydex no and based on what ive read, the Dragons are still AWESOME.The hydra does learn tri-Attack.

Well, i said that because so far, pokemon like Dugtrio (Has three heads) and Magneton (Has three um...whatever) and also Dodrio (Has three heads) can learn Tri Attack. And i absolutely agree that so far, Dragon-types in this Gen was better that the previous Gen. And if you waited for BW to come out in Canada, i have to wait and save my money for a DS first.

yeah, the only dragon i dont get is the onokoso or whatever. it has a axe on it's face. and for the DS, do extra chores around the house. dont ravenouly spend money just to spend money. buy what you need, and save the rest.

I guess the Kibago evolution line was just like Trapinch evolution line, without the Ground-type. But i really do hope that it got great stats, at least decent.

P.S. Thanks for the advice.
