This is part of the reason that it doesn't concern me too much cause I am not really seeing it...

Regardless, it is most likely just bad coloring on the screen that is showing it weither the website's video player, the actual video's color quality or you know the other one remaining reason...

Well... I wouldn't mind going through the whole game with a pink hat on. It'd be a nice change of pace from the generic red one.

And besides, it'd be funny to see everyone in the game taking me seriously with that thing on.

I think the characters, particularly the male character, look at least 14, possibly older. I think you can tell this from their fashion choices a bit -

My main reasoning for this is the hair; the male character's hair sticks out a lot, and to realistically get your hair like that you'd need to be backcombing and gel and stuff, and no guy below the age of 13 gives a crap about their look really, or at least, not to the point where they do any of this/have that hair. The girl has really wierd-ass hair, and you don't experiment with things like that until you get to a point around 13+ again, I don't think.

Also though, the boy's jacket is kind of bizarre in a cool way, but its nothing like the clothes 99% of under 13 males wear (Jeans/Tracksuit and a Hoodie or T-Shirt is the entirety of what they wear, or shorts). His trousers are the majorly uncomfortable kind, and so hes probably wearing those for appearance reasons.

And it isn't until you are comfortable with your sexuality you can carry around a 'purse' as a guy :0

The girl dresses like my eleven year old sister, so she could be any age really.

I like the characters anyway, particularly the boy sprite. Although SS had the most valid point - they only take up around 20 pixels when you play the game.

It was most likely Rose Art Red or off brand crayon Red, fake ass red, all bright & pinkish, ugh...

...you know you're talking about red, rite?? one of the most hardcore characters in the entire series?? imo, the only thing wrong with his character was that they misrepresented his age.

There is simply nothing wrong with the color Red to pretty much anybody anywhere & IT IS Red if you look at his Sugimori Art...

ANYWAY...
i think these two characters are BADASS. all in one word. They do look better than any previous heroes and the guy...i actually want to play as him.
Compared to the other heroes...
FR/LG male: he was decent
FR/LG Female: ugh
HG/SS male: he was the second best
HG/SS female: WHAT ON EARTH WERE THEY THINKING!?
R/S/E male and female: **face palm** these are hideous.
D/P/Pt male: just like Gen 3- disgusting
D/P/Pt female: she was the best female...
D/P/pt...thing: Whetever that creepy blonde kid with horns was...not exactly good.
B/W male and female: these are probably the best yet. they actually have a really good dress style too.
i still say bring Ash/Red back for giggles
