your mom is a infant. annyway, i was much older. i have a friend who never got any other game besides FRLG. got Platnum and LOVED IT. the remakes are not as good as the originals. |

He kinda has a point. You can't really appreciate a game you weren't around to play. RBY were older than me so after I beat GSC when I was 4 (that's right superior ownage not to mention without a starter) but I went back so that I could appreciate the older games. A Gen III would be great it was the most unique region speaking that It required you to surf alot. I loved it!! |

If anyone was around for the "OMG HGSS IS CASH COW" topics when it was first announced (or really just discussed), you'd know that RS remakes are completely plausible. Personally, I'd like to see then happen. RSE was great. Hoenn was a fantastic region. |

Actually, my first games (besides the Sapphire my friend let me borrow) was the FireRed version that my mom bought so I would have a game for my Gameboy Advance SP. I must've searched on EVERY water route trying to find a Staryu. Nowadays I check the excluives before I buy. (with the exception of SoulSilver. I wanted to relive memories from an old Silver cart my aunt gave me.) ON TOPIC: I definitely think that RSE should be remade. Besides just wanting them, I think that some of the core features NEED to be updated. Like no running inside buildings, the new camera, gender differences, new art style (I was replaying Sapphire, and then Diamond, and I noticed that the pokeballs have become MUCH more cartoony), and gym upgrades. I want the Hoenn battle frontier back too. Seviper thing was awesome. |

here's another cool thing they could do with the botom screen, they could make it the pokenav, instead of the menu or a poketetchtingamajiger. |

Has promise, but ultimately the bottom screen is best suited for the HGSS menu, but with the Poketch instead of the PokeGear. Or maybe the Poketch could have a button between the app selectors that brought up he menu? I though that HGSS had an excellent menu, and I'm sad to see it go in BW. |

If there is gonna be another remake its gonna be RSE, since all the other have been redone. Of course if we take a look at how the remakes were done: FRLG was for the GBA HGSS was for the DS So this means (guessing) that the remakes of RSE will be fore a NEW system, and not for the DS generation. |

So, yes a RSE remake could be done on the DS generation, IF there would be a new generation of nintendo systems in the near future (As in games that are only for a 3D system that isnt the 3Ds). |

Here's my view of remakes. Kid's these days want the latest game, with the latest console. They don't give a damn about Red, Green, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, LeafGreen, FireRed, Ruby Sapphire, and Emerald. If you give these as gifts to them, they'll bawl like it's the end of the world. (Not generalizing though) So, because of ignorance, remakes should be done, or the great stories of Kanto and Hoenn will be lost. |
