 Can't evolve a sneasel into a weavile

Post Can't evolve a sneasel into a weavile
In Heart Gold, I just can't evolve a sneasel into a weavile. I know that it should hold a razor claw while traded at night- well I waited past midnight and it didn't work. Any solution will be appreciated!

You don't trade the Sneasel. Just level it up once while it's holding the Razor Claw and it will evolve.

Just for clarification, night is recognized by the game as 20:00 to 03:59.
