1. Open Marking Map App.
2. Go to a spot where two routes intersect.
3. Find the exact boundry where the 'new route' message pops up.
4. Step over the boundry.
5. Check the Marking Map to see if there's a Pokemon symbol over the route you are in.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 untill a Pokemon shows up on the map.
7. Search the grass, and you'll find your Legendary in no time at all. Just make sure you can acually catch it once you find it

Since my birthday last year, the site hasn't updated at all, and people have been slowly trickling away from the forums over the weeks. I've had this site as my internet homepage for ages, and I anxiously awaited the resurgence that I hoped would come. But it never came. So, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my permanent leave of Psypoke. As a moderator, I wished only the best for everyone here, and worked to maintain a jolly environment where everyone could discuss cartoon monsters in peace. Now, I wish all those who happen to be reading this message good luck in whatever endeavors you have chosen to pursue, and that your futures be bright.

Actually, I use a different method.
STEP 1:Fly to Jubilife city
STEP 2:Keep flying to Jubilife City (even if you ara already there). This makes them change location. (oh, by the way, that "adjacent route stuff is LIES)
STEP 3:When it appears on the route from Jubilife to Canalave, go through the gate building and start surfing or walking in grass. (it will NOT change location when you do this)
STEP 4:Catch it!

How is it "LIES"? It does work, step back and forth between the route boundaries until it shows up in the same area. Your method takes more time
